How do you guys not have white rice ready at open time?

Seemed like a good option at Countryside Mall. I ordered the chicken and shrimp teriyaki dish and it did not disappoint. A good amount of shrimp and chicken along with vegetables - cabbage and broccoli - and a generous serving of rice. The sauce was good but it could have done with just a little more. Overall a good meal and reasonably good value.

The food is wonderful, but the employment could use some extra help honestly... I was there with my grandmother trying to order a Beef bento box with add-on shrimp tempura off the menu for myself, as you can see here in the picture, and a chicken bento box for my abuella. I was told however that i could not order the add-on for some reason, so we relented to just ordering the two seperate which the employee said was fine. Despite the fact abuella was speaking the same language (Spanish and English) with the employees, they've gotten our order wrong multiple times. We ended up paying for a chicken bento box and a combo chicken and shrimp TERIYAKI. Only the chicken bento was correct. We tried multiple times to ask for the correct order but we never got what we ordered, nor were we compensated for paying for the wrong food, so we were forced to just sit and eat what we were given. The food of course is always delicious, I have no complaints there, but I was quite aggravated with the customer service and so was my abuella.

Edit: Their online support has reassured me that this will not happen again and has provided me with recompense for my experience, at the very least if anything happens im reassured that it'll be fixed no problem. Still this did happen, so I figured at least an update was necessary, thank you again Sarku support for helping me.

A Nice Sushi Roll for Lunch.

Walking the mall with my mother and we decided to have a quick bite to eat before going to a movie, she wanted Asian so Sarku Japan was it.

She got some kind of chicken, but I went with a Tempura Shrimp Sushi Roll. Was affordable, came out pretty fast, and looked great.

Came with a side of fresh ginger and some very fresh wasabi, the sushi itself was excellent. No complaints. Light, satisfying, and a perfect choice for a quick meal before a much bigger one hours later.

Couldn’t resist the sample guy waving us down to give us free samples in the food court. We ended up ordering the chicken teriyaki with white rice and veggies. Good portions for what you pay.

Big portion sizes .. love the teriyaki chicken and rice .. delicious!!
