I heard a lot of good and bad things about this place and it remains true. The food does taste good, but they don’t give you enough for the price. I could imagine that they’re struggling to pay their lease so they have to skim on every dish they hand out there’s barely any meat in the stirfry and everything is covered in sauce to give it flavor I won’t be coming back here but maybe one day in the future I’ll give them another try. Everybody was nice and friendly at least.
This place always has a healthy crowd of regulars. Service is good, food arrives quickly and I'm able to eat here on a 45 minute lunch break. What keeps me coming back is the food. The presentation is beautiful and it tastes amazing. This is the best Thai food in Tampa!
I lived in Temple Terrace some years ago and would regularly eat at Sawatdee. It was one of my favorite places! Carefully prepared food, pretty Thai decor, nice service. I moved away, but was in Temple Terrace recently so I wanted to stop in. All the pretty decor had been removed, and replaced with a minimalist/modern look! Really took away from the atmosphere in my opinion. We ordered our favorite dishes that we used to get a few years ago and they were unfortunately really mediocre....
