“Best venue for a private party. Fred & his superb staff provided my family with an excellent meal starting with tapas, salad and then 3 choice entree & deserts. Bar drinks/service are epic - loved the Sangria. To add to our special fiesta, they arranged "over-the-top" guitar music with a Flamenco dancer performance. “Second time at Haya for dinner. Overall, it's a great date spot and we will be back. Our server was terrific, the noise level in the main dining room was ok, and the food was pretty good although with slightly small portions. Where things have fallen off; menu is more limited and several terrific options like the fish encased in banana leaf, are no longer available. The biggest disappointment was removal of the “make your own” old fashioned. This was a primary reason to return. We asked and understand it's due to the cost and time bartenders had to put into the craft cocktails. I'd recommend bringing back the old fashioned perhaps with curtailed options. Look to increase the menu options by 50%, slightly larger portions, and you'll be back on many people's regular rotation.“

“Omg I'm super fan of the Mangu and the 3 golpes I order also a side of the home fries excellent great flavor not salty and very moist the mangu im not from the area but find it im goggle map no regrets at all and the service was great as well...

“The three of us shared fried chicken and shrimp and grits. Both entrees were good! The chicken had a good home cooked tasting batter on it l, spiced perfectly. The shrimp and grits were underwhelming. It was a good dish just not a winner in my book. I’m a huge fan of the dish! Trip’s version was kind of bland. Plain grits with all the goodies piled on top. If I went back I’d have the chicken. Sides were all good. Winner was the mixed veggies. Shared a piece of Key Lime pie and it was great. Service was prompt and courteous.“

“Best Cuban food outside of Miami. Great menu choices. I had the chicken ala parilla with tostones. It was delicious. Server was friendly and very professional. Went for lunch at about 2 pm after visiting the Tampa Zoo, which is not too far away. We were seated right away. Plenty of parking. You have a choice to sit cafeteria/stool style on the one side of the building or a sit-down table on the other. Highly recommended, very reasonably priced.“
