Outdoors, open spaces, good food, and libations.
Great restaurants but overly expensive for no reason. Great atmosphere to walk around and enjoy the outdoors with food and drink. The turf area is great for kids with an outdoor bar for adults. A small stage allows for entertainment! They host different activities throughout the year. Shops are cute and have nice products. Also very expensive. For the most part, they are high quality products. Not sure why hooters was ever forced out. It was the staple of the area.
Amazing place
Sparkman Wharf is a fantastic spot to hang out, eat great food, and enjoy the waterfront atmosphere. I recently visited with my wife and a friend, and we had an amazing time. The place has a lively, laid-back vibe with plenty of outdoor seating, beautiful views of the water, and a great selection of food and drink options.
One of the best things about Sparkman Wharf is the variety of food choices. From tacos and burgers to seafood and craft beer, there’s something for everyone. The setup is unique, with food vendors operating out of shipping containers, giving it a cool and modern feel. The quality of the food was excellent, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful.
Aside from the food, the atmosphere is what really makes this place special. There’s often live music or events happening, adding to the fun and energetic environment. It’s also a great place to just relax and enjoy the waterfront views, whether you’re there for a casual lunch, dinner, or drinks with friends.
The only downside is that it can get pretty busy, especially on weekends, but that’s to be expected at such a popular spot. Even with the crowds, we found the service to be friendly and efficient.
Overall, Sparkman Wharf is a must-visit if you’re in Tampa. Whether you’re looking for great food, a fun atmosphere, or just a nice place to unwind by the water, this spot has it all. Highly recommend!
Very cool environment where you can chill outdoors & lots of eateries to choose from.
Pretty cool concept, we were there celebrating my friend's life. Got together with several friends. Since childhood, the chocolate shop was amazing
Family friendly space. We went to play pool and eat some burgers and had a good time.
The access to the water was closed. Not much to see here. The only thing left here was a bunch of restaurants and eateries.
Nice place to walk around and enjoy some sweets and street food shops
Lots of options and really good food 👍🏼

Walking in the area
I love this place!
An eclectic outdoor plaza with food stall options, restaurants, and stores. There's outdoor seating in a grassy area that views the bay port. You can grab some food, have a seat, listen to the live band, and watch as cruise ships sail by! A super relaxing space to visit and hang out with friends/family. Definitely come when it's cooler because it can get quite warm!
Food wise, I got a kimchi chicken rice bowl from Dang Dude. Chicken was good and the meal was filling. I visited the Hampton Chocolate Factory where I sampled some chocolate (yummy!) and had some ice cream (sweet & rich) which hit the spot for a warmer day. Their ice cream is very filling because they give you a lot, I couldn't finish the cone on my own :(
Parking - there's a lot right next to the plaza but it was hard to find parking (pay by phone $20). Had to go to the parking garage where there's plenty of space ($20 to park)
Recommend to carpool to save some $ !!
Great open space for shopping and getting some food and drinks. Prices are a bit on the higher side but I feel well worth it if your staying in the area. Lots of family friendly options and shops. Well patrolled and lots of friendly people keep the area very safe. Would highly recommend if your vacationing in the area or about to board a cruise!
