I went with my boyfriend and we loved it! Sid was so helpful with helping us choose our dishes and gave us great recs. The guava juice was delicious and we got the egusi soup and puf puf beef sliders which were phenomenal. Def recommend this place! We will be back :)

“Very disappointing experience. We visited this restaurant during our vacation with our family, including my elderly mother. After our meal, my mother politely asked if there was a small space where she could perform her prayer. The request was denied without any effort to accommodate us.

As a Muslim family, we found this especially upsetting. We were not asking for special treatment, only a few minutes of understanding and respect. Customer service is about making guests feel welcome, and unfortunately that was not our experience here.

The food was not enough to make up for how unwelcome we felt. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to other Muslim families looking for a welcoming environment.”

This was my very first time trying African cuisine, and I can honestly say I was blown away!

We decided to do takeout from the buffet so we could sample a little bit of everything, and we definitely took advantage of the variety. We loaded up on several different soups, chicken, beef, goat, fufu, plantains, spring rolls, and so many other dishes. Every single item was packed with flavor. I loved the unique blend of spices and how some of the dishes balanced savory and sweet flavors so perfectly. Every bite brought something new, and it was truly an explosion of flavors.

The staff was also wonderful. The gentleman at the front took the time to explain the different dishes, answer our questions, and even helped me avoid certain foods due to my shrimp allergy. They made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed for our takeout order.

I rated the atmosphere 3 stars only because the restaurant did not have central air conditioning, and it was extremely hot inside on a very warm summer day. Because of that, we chose takeout rather than dining in and enjoying the buffet on-site. However, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food more than made up for it.

Overall, this was a fantastic first experience with African cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and I will definitely be coming back to try even more dishes!
