My best friend and I love African food but had never tried Egusi soup and wanted to give it a try. We went here because the reviews were great. Here's a breakdown of our experiece:

We liked the vibe/decor upon entry and it smelled delicious. After we were seated I got the Egusi while my bestie ordered the peanut soup. We both very much enjoyed our meals. Both stews were great in flavor and we loved the fufu.

somthing different in tampa. puffs with pepper stew spicy, good not hot. cassava fries wonderful with left over pepper stuff. agusi with goat great thick. read fufu for 10 min on Wikipedia. me spoon in soup not balls with right hand and dip. worth it glad we did it. go up front to pay. no tap water have to pay for bottle water. purified tap..

I appreciate the ambiance of this restaurant, which is very clean and welcoming. The jollof rice was excellent and I would definitely order it from here again. Not a big fan of the fried chicken but everything else was good. I would definitely recommend you to try Steaming Pot for your self .
