Pepper Soup
Goat meat marinated in fresh seasonings, scotch bonnet pepper and other spices overnight. Meat is then cooked till it's tender and all of the thick broth full of mama Africa's flavor remains for a hearty soup. Served with your choice of fufu or Jasmin white rice.
Rice and Beans (Waakye/ Ayimolu)
Rice and black eyed beans cooked together with special spices. Served with slow cooked tomato stew, black pepper (shito), gari foto (grated cassava mixed with tomato stew), 1 boiled egg, salad and your choice of 1 meat.
Beef Stew
Tender fried beef served with flavorful slow cooked tomato stew, white rice, plantains and side salad. (stew contains small amounts of smoked fish power for flavoring)
Cassava Leaves stew
Cassava leaves cooked with palm oil, fresh seasonings and African spices. Your choice of goat, beef or hen (chicken). Paired with your choice of fufu or jasmine white rice.
Attieke with Fish
Fermented grated cassava cooked with onions, peppers and other spices. Paired with fried fish, (your choice of whole Snapper or Tilapia) fresh bell peppers and onion or stew and fried plantains.
Garden Egg Stew
Thick, rich, savory and vegan garden egg stew. Tender garden eggs cooked in palm oil,red bell peppers, onions, other fresh ingredients and simmered in local African spices. Pairs well with fufu or white rice.

My Experience here was amazing, as a first time experiencing this culture, I was welcomed and was even able to sample thier egusi and okra soup which we’re both to die for. I tried the egusi soup with fufu and the mango drink. The mango drink tasted all natural and really refreshing. I cannot recommend this enough if you’ve never tried it now is the chance! Much love to the employees and an amazing culture i was able to experience

Absolutely worth the drive! We came all the way from Bradenton to Tampa to try Steaming Pot, and it did not disappoint. The West African cuisine was incredible—everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was on point!

Our waiter, Eli, was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better. From the food to the service, everything was perfect.

I’ve been there a few times before to grab food carry out. This time my husband and I went and dined it and I am so happy we did. Our server was Juju and she really was so patient with us especially with my husband offering to taste the different soups. He has never had African food and he himself said how it’s the best fried snapper he ever had. I tried something new because of Juju and it’s now my favorite.
