This place is so awesome , a Tampa staple. It’s a “hole in the wall” but it is so much fun. Coldest beer and wine, and the best bartenders. Angel & Carolina are AmAzInG. Always a good time.

I stumbled in here for the first time looking for a wholesome dive bar experience and Steel Horse did not disappoint. The bartender was attentive and kind. The regulars welcomed us into all the bar games. Everyone was respectful at closing time. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

People of color are definitely NOT welcome here. We were instantly discriminated against when we walked through the door . It was so bad that we sat on the patio away from everyone due to the other patrons mean mugging us then shortly after we moved, The bartender came and Shut the patio door without saying a word to us. We left immediately because we were not welcomed 🙏🏽Very rude and racist establishment and energy

when I just tried to call this number to contact the business, it kept saying the number was out of service and then every 10 calls it would ring and say nobody could pick up my call but it’s past 11 o’clock and it’s open.

After making minor allowances (it is after all a true dive bar) I think anyone will find the Steel Horse a cozy and friendly place with without a doubt the coldest and probably lowest priced beer in town.
