Wow! I love another south Tampa sushi restaurant and this new restaurant now rivals it. Very fresh. Creative rolls. Definitely get an extra side truffle cream sauce

Service and atmosphere were great. It’s a bit small inside but felt cozy. Server was attentive.
Apps: Stalker Tuna Temaki was really tasty. The gyo-sai soup was a let down. Was pretty oily and tasted burnt maybe? Hard to tell, we didn’t like it. Could have just been us too, unsure.
Rolls: Veggie, Truffled Sweet potato, Tropical, and Golden Dragon. All tasted good, fish was fresh. Overall they were very sauce heavy and most had cream cheese. We tend to like rolls where the fish is more forward.
Overall a good experience and would go back if in the area.

I’ve seen this place on Instagram a few times so o finally decided to try them out. And I am glad I did! The truffle crispy rice was delicious. I do wish the rice was a little thicker so that the ratio seems better. It’s currently very thin fried rice and it was all a little chewy v crispy outside and soft inside. The gyozas were delicious. The Fire Tuna roll was a 7/10 for me. A little too much cream cheese. Overall, I highly recommend and will def come back again!

Big things come in small packages, and this place proves it! It is small inside, but the atmosphere is such that it doesn't feel too cramped in my opinion. It helps that I went in the evening on a Wednesday though, im sure. Great service too. Staff is very nice! I am a sushi lover and this place certainly impressed me! The flavors are so creative, well balanced and delicious. Ingredients are fresh. Can't wait to come back and try more from their menu!

My girlfriends and I recently tried out the newly opened SUSHARK on S. MacDill Ave, just a few blocks from Bayshore Blvd. It’s a cozy spot in a small plaza next to a laundromat, and while the parking situation was a bit challenging due to limited spots and an uneven lot, the experience was still enjoyable.
Our server, Delaney T., was good. She was attentive to our party of 7 all evening, making sure we were well taken care of. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, with the Fire Tuna Roll being a standout. However, there were a few small details that kept it from a five-star experience. They don’t automatically serve ginger and wasabi on each plate, though it’s provided if requested at no extra charge. Additionally, SUSHARK is currently BYOB, with a single corkage fee, as they don’t yet serve alcohol, though Delaney mentioned that they plan to offer drinks next month—though we’re not sure if that means wine and beer or a full bar.
The restaurant is small, so I’d recommend making a reservation, as tables fill up quickly. Overall, SUSHARK is a great addition to the area, and I’ll be back to enjoy more of their sushi!

Sushi is fresh and great! The rolls have a modern twist which is refreshing. It is a very small place so I would recommend calling a head to see if there busy. Pick up option either, they have very nice packaging.
