Great hotel with firm, comfortable beds, beautiful views of Tampa, and close proximity to all the fun stuff. Rooms are a bit basic but clean and sufficient. Hop on the trolley to get around downtown. The pool area is super relaxing. The fees are a bit expensive, but you do get some resort amenities. Ice and microwaves are only on alternating floors which is a real pain. Parking is valet and a bit overpriced, but you are paying to park downtown. Overall, customer service is solid here and I recommend this hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was magical. The hotel is beautiful with stunning views of the water. We enjoyed the close access to the trolley that we took to dinner and my husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine at the outside hotel bar. My girls loved the pool and we enjoyed the stunning views. The hotel is a great location and closely located to the water taxi. The city lights on the water taxi at night was beautiful. The hotel staff was so so kind. They even gave my daughters stuffed animals. We will truly remember this trip to Tampa. Thank you so much!

We had a lovely time at this Marriott! Its a great location within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The Concierge lounge was well stocked and had great service. We were somewhat dissappointed with service at the bar both inside and outside at Anchor and Brine.

Writing this at 4AM our first night here… woke up unable to breathe and coughing in our rooms. Im assuming mold best case scenario, the air conditioner is non existent in the rooms, your better off sleeping on the balcony if you need fresh air whatsoever to sleep. The reception was no help whatsoever, ill be down first thing in the morning to see if there is any way to cancel the rest of my stay here.

This hotel is fabulous and elegant. Its location is unbelievably convenient next to the convention center, river walk, free street car stop, one block from the Arena, and three blocks from the cruise terminal and Florida Aquarium. The staff was fabulous and the Anchor & Brine restaurant offers a great outdoor experience with a view of the river. The rooms were clean and spacious. The fitness room is well equipped but there’s a grade separation (steps) connecting two adjoining areas. The sky bridge connector to the JW Marriott across the street is uber convenient with easy access to SiX restaurant and The Beacon (rooftop bar). The river walk is immediately out the back door and spans 2.5 miles, is well lit, and allows for wonderful morning runs or evening walks. It’s hard to imagine that I would stay anywhere else when I return to Tampa.

I am a Gold Bonvoy member with Marriott and this is an average hotel with too few elevators. Felt like a cruise ship with all the people jammed in the elevators. Not a good experience. I have 4 more days to endure this tragic treatment

The Tampa Marriott water street is one of the best hotels in downtown Tampa I am a titanium Marriott bonvoy member the concierge lounge was one of the best I’ve seen and the view from our room was beautiful we had 2 rooms one was a 2 bed facing the port of Tampa the other faced towards the water and the rooms at the end of the halls have more space

We had an amazing weekend stay at the Tampa Marriott Water Street! The location was perfect — close to so many great restaurants and attractions. The rooftop pool was a highlight — relaxing with a great view of the city. We also loved that the water taxi was included with our stay — such a fun and unique way to explore Tampa. The service was excellent and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back!
