Hubby and I stayed here for 5 nights for a convention. We were very happy with the rooms and the service. Very spacious, clean room. Housecleaning was great, and did a great job keeping our room clean. A/C worked great, and the room amenities were perfect. Great location close to the convention center and the free trolly.

It is close to the convention center. This particular Marriott has high-end dining, but also as few very reasonable venues to eat at. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It was very comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the variety of restaurants at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The entire staff was accommodating and friendly. The river front location only added to the great experience.

The bathroom smelled like raw sewage for the entire duration of my 7-day stay, Toilet backed up, they did come within the hour. Mentioned it to housekeeping, she simply sprayed air freshener. Maintenance finally called back a day later, and as of check-out they never addressed the issue. I was offered a $20 credit, no thanks. Was never offered a different room. Never again.

I don't typically write reviews, but I've spent 100 nights as a titanium member in Marriotts this year and my experience here was so bad it merited a review. I hope nobody else has my experience. No breakfast. No coffee. No M club/concierge lounge. Pay for everything. Both wrote to the staff in the app and asked for assistance twice at the front desk. Nothing.

I'm still here in Tampa, Florida at the Marriott so far its been a pleasure 🙏 it's in a nice location right across from the convention center it in very close walking distance. Mind your I'm from Texas where its hot 🔥, but this heat very much different. I'm a asthma person it is keeping me kind of using inhaler.
I love this hotel so much when im visiting Tampa as a musician I travel a lot and I stay in so many marriotts but this one stands out to me the most because how beautiful it is , but more than anything because how wonderful and pleasant the staff is , thank you so much Malachi for always being the best I’ve been coming to Marriott for years and he’s always been there with his smile and going above and beyond to make sure my stay is comfortable and unique, he deserves all praise , we definitely need more people like him, also Ty precious for being sweet and kind , I will always come back to this hotel , it’s my home away from home , Ty for being kind to my little pug too !!

We stayed here for one night while visiting friends in Tampa and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we stepped inside we were greeted by very welcoming staff. Precious, at the front desk, delivered a true above & beyond check-in experience. She was very friendly, explained everything about the property, and made sure we were well taken care of. The room was very clean and spacious. The restaurants and bars were also fantastic. We particularly loved the lobby bar and the breakfast. This hotel is also in a great location downtown. We truly had a great time here and we look forward to another stay.

Beautiful spot in Tampa downtown right across from harbor island, convention center, lightening Benchmark Arena. Pool deck on 3rd floor is outstanding with full views of the harbor. Channel side cafe is great as well
