We chose TASTE as the only reasonably close spot that was open for dinner that included a nice fish meal and a steak meal. We ordered both kinds of meals off a special menu they added.The service here was AWFUL. We were seated right away by a woman pointing and saying find a table where you'd like. Then she promptly ignored us after this time.Another friendly non-English speaking woman delivered us waters a few moments later but could offer no other help.After more than 5 mins we finally realized the first woman was not coming back so I went to the host stand and located menus for ourselves.The food had a beautiful presentation. the Mahi Mahi was so flavorful but terribly overcooked. The corn succotash it sat upon tasted like dirt.The steak meal was, eh, also. It was served with fries that looked tasty but were not hot and a bit soggy from the container that were served in.We were checked on 1 time when nearly finished which is when I requested our check. The first waters we recieved were the only drinks we ever got for the duration of the meal.Beautiful atmosphere! TERRIBLE service and mediocre food at best.

We had a great experience. The chicken sliders with siracha and Cole slaw were delicious. My family also loved the pork belly bao bun sliders and the pizza - plus the onion rings!! everything was exceptionally fresh and delicious.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu

They were a lot of fun and excellent bartenders! Jacob saw what I preferred in drinks and got me to try the "chocolate covered strawberry" drink that he created. I was hooked!. The food here is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Thanks for making a great weekend even better!!

Just got the Florida Strip Steak to go and brought it back to my room at the Embassy... Omg... The most tender Strip I've ever had... No joke. Ive been a chef for 20+ years and this Florida Beef is unmatched imo. Bartender was amazing, the whiskey sour was on point. Great job to the staff.

The food was delicious, actually better than we expected it to be, because sometimes standard chain hotels have terrible food. The flatbread was delicious, it's doughy and not crispy, which is the way I like it, but some people who prefer crispy pizzas won't like it for that reason. We also had the chicken sliders, which were amazing. The chicken was tasty, crispy and not saturated with oil. The service was absolutely terrible, in fact we didn't receive any service. There was only one waitress and inside was busy. We opted to sit outside, which was a mistake, because no one came to help us. After quite a wait, a very nice man from another department came to help us. He took our order, brought our drinks and that was about it. We didn't receive any more service. My husband had to go and settle the cheque inside, because no one checked on us outside. All in all, the service was deplorable, but the food was excellent.

The chicken sliders were amazing, and the service was even better. Taylor at the bar took great care of us at lunch and did a fantastic job of handling the crowd in the evening. This restaurant is one of the many reasons we like staying at this hotel.

We were staying in the Embassy Suites hotel for a concert and decided to eat downstairs before getting ready. Got a few plates to share between 3 people and everything TASTEd absolutely delicious. The portions were big and we had leftovers! The staff was very friendly as well. We sat at a table on the side and the bartender took care of us. For a Friday late lunch, it wasn't too busy inside so service was pretty quick after we ordered. Very impressed for a hotel restaurant and would definitely come back if I was in the area again. Our bartender, Jeanette, is a true mixologist. She and Dylan crafted multiple signature cocktails for us, including unique concoctions named Java Nut, Campfire Smoke and Berrylicious. Each drink was noteworthy, but the Campfire Smoke was exceptionally so, what with its roasted marshmallow suspended above the smoked bourbon. If you want something different, visit Taste this evening. Yes, a little on the pricey side, but well worth it. Special appreciation to Jeanette for creating a memorable evening in Tampa's trendy Channelside.
