I called to make a reservation for a small group of 7 people and the phone experience was very unpleasant. The person who answered (Chabeli) was quite rude and unfriendly. I understand that every restaurant has its own policies (such as not splitting checks or not allowing outside cake), but the way these rules are communicated makes all the difference. In this case, they were delivered in a very curt and unhelpful manner.
We ended up canceling our reservation and choosing another restaurant where the staff was kind, open to requests, and welcoming from the very first call. Good service is just as important as good food, and unfortunately, this place fell short on that.

this was $38. all the food on here doesn’t even cost $38 , in the last few years the food has gotten bland and they don’t give you much. but they charge more. doesn’t make any sense .

I’m not sure what happened to Terra Sur. Years ago it was the place to go for Peruvian food in Tampa. I recently revisited after many years as we moved to the northeast. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The ceviche had no lime or cilantro, but had parsley. The lomo saltado was missing that Smokey flavor that I used to enjoy. The chaufa was overwhelmed with garlic flavor (tasted good, but did not taste like chaufa). The restaurant is clean and neatly decorated, but the classic/jazz music seemed out of place for a Peruvian restaurant. I hope they find there way back to how they were before.

Very authentic and flavorful. We love this peruvian restaurant and come here more often than I'd like to admit :-) I have many recommendations but my most favorites are the Chicken Causa, Anticucho and the Ceviche is just amazing and fresh. I cannot not order it. And they have a great wine list! (Love the wine room!) I can keep going, but just trust me and give them a visit. You'll love it too... You're welcome :-)

We usually come to this restaurant and it's phenomenal, tonight it was not. We had a birthday party they would not let us have the cake. They said it was against some kind of ordinance. The waitress was awful, she was not very friendly. She messed up the drinks. She never filled the waters. I was so upset by the time I ordered dinner which I always order a very expensive thing I ordered just a salad. We had the manager come over he wasn't much help at all. I told him I would not ever be back. He said that was my choice. All I have to say is there was 10 of us and none of us were happy with any of our food. Any of our service and I personally will not be back. Very, very, very disappointed.
