My boyfriend and I were on a hunt to find a new sandwich shop to try and we came across That's Wat'Sub… Y’ALL!!!!! THE SUBS AND SMOOTHIES WERE FIREEEEE! If you have any questions about whether or not you should try this spot, JUST DO IT! The owner is so sweet and made our food with love and you can taste the difference.

One of the best subs I’ve ever had - honey ham sandwich with the homemade deli dressing was amazing.
Also, created a new smoothie with the passionfruit / papaya / pineapple / mango. Came out so good.

Worst service I have ever experienced. There’s one person in front of me waiting 30 minutes and their order still isn’t ready. The girl has no idea what she’s doing. She doesn’t greet anyone or say anything. Everyone behind me left. Never coming here again. Unbelievable

I recently stopped by That's Wat'Sub and tried their Pep in Your Step smoothie—and wow! It was absolutely amazing. Delicious, flavorful, and packed with taste in every sip. I also couldn’t resist sampling their Red Velvet, Chocolate, and Double Chocolate cookies, and each one was rich, decadent, and incredibly satisfying.
A big shoutout to the staff member who helped me—I believe her name was Mitsy. She was warm, kind, attentive, and made the entire experience feel welcoming and enjoyable. Her hospitality stood out just as much as the food.
And I can't say enough about the owner, Kathleen. She is truly amazing. Her creativity, culinary expertise, and heart for the community shine through in every detail of the menu and atmosphere. Tampa is genuinely lucky to have someone like her offering such a fresh, flavorful, and unique take on cutlery and cuisine.
That's Wat'Sub is quickly becoming one of my top go-to lunch spots. I can’t always make it over, but trust me—I think about it often! A true gem in the area that I’m glad I found.

My family were in town for an event at The Skills Center, and wanted to find a place to eat within walking distance. We searched and found this awesome sandwich shop! Our sandwiches were so good, we swapped with each other so that we could get a taste of the different types of sandwiches!!! The sandwiches were only out done by the smoothies...we had the Number 4. If you go to this establishment and don't get a smoothie...you are doing yourself, and everyone you love, a great disservice!!! The next time we are in town we will definitely go back...Tampa has a real gem with this one!!!

Kathleen’s service was immaculate and when I sat down to eat the sandwich I was blessed with the best Philly cheesesteak of my life. For the rest of the week I felt defiled as I bit into anything other than her sub. She changed the Philly cheesesteak expirence for me and I definitely recommend. Felt like my soul was ascending to heaven.
