Whenever I am in Tampa visiting the castle is always a must! They have an outside bar and regular bar down stairs. Plus another bar upstairs and obviously the main attraction which is the dance floor upstairs. There is a cover but it's worth it. It's always a great time at the castle! Absolutely love and reccomend!

While the castle is a fantastic place to dance and meet new people, most of the staff is pathetic and shouldn't be working there. A few of the ladies running bar were very nice and would even give free waters for the road to help everyone hydrate, but all the guys running bar will give you a terrible attitude and get offended when you bite back. Unless you get lucky and have one of the nice bartenders i mentioned previously, your bar experience is going to be mediocre at best.The experience that even pushed me to make an edit on my review to include all of this, is the terrible bouncers that seem to be on a power trip because they can get away with whatever they want to do.I went to castle recently with a friend that has narcolepsy. He fell asleep at a table and I figured it was no big deal, another one of my friends in our group was going to give him 30 minutes or so then wake him up. About 20 minutes into him sleeping one of the bouncers comes up and just starts shaking him roughly saying he's too wasted and has to go. The wrong place at the wrong time, I get it, I'm not too upset about the accusations. I'm more so disgusted with the fact the staff will see someone that can hardly keep their own head up, and just shove them out the building while they're mentally unequipped to deal with Ybor at one in the morning.I couldn't imagine what could have happened if he was actually too intoxicated to stand up and then thrown to the streets. It sets a terrible precedent. Imagine if some kid got roofied and the bouncer throws them off to the street? Is that the kind of business you want to run, Castle? On top of all of that, every single time I've visited while wearing a crossbody bag, never once have i been searched. It makes me uneasy to think anybody could easily bring in a weapon if they wanted to.It's a cool looking club with a lot of amazing people that visit it regularly. Unfortunately The Castle does not care about you, or anyone else's safety while you are there. I don't recommend this place until the ones in charge of this club get their act together.

Had a crazy night out on the town, and then ended up here, and tore up the dance floor, but not before running into MoistCr1TiKaL! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars just for that honestly, it was so cool. I did not want to interrupt what he was doing so I did not ask for a picture. But I was thinking about it for the rest of the week!
