best night club for industrial goth music/80s and a great night of your life
Disappointed I have to write a negative lengthy review about a place I liked going to: the music, the vibe, events, all fantastic.. but the staff -- more specifically 1 bartender (upstairs) and the manager on duty the night i went, was [exxxtremely] unprofessional and gave the impression they had absolutely no idea what they were doing. The bartender gave my card to some random other female customer. I mean I'm understanding, I get it, it happens..

The Castle is a unique bar and club that has been a popular spot for over twenty years, offering a comfortable and safe environment for people from all walks of life. The relaxed atmosphere and great music create a judgement-free ambiance, attracting alternative, punk, and goth enthusiasts, as well as anyone looking for a fun time. The historic building has been transformed into a dance club with various rooms, including gothic, rock, and trance-themed areas.
Despite occasional crowding, especially during special events, the Castle maintains a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, with regulars and newcomers alike enjoying the vibrant energy of the space. The staff strive to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, though some visitors have reported issues with certain bouncers. The drinks may be a bit pricey, and it can be challenging to get the bartender's attention during busy nights, but the overall experience is worth it for those seeking a lively and inclusive environment.
