All of the cheesecake tastes like chemicals. The specialty flavors are just the original flavor slathered in some topping. I paid $28 for two slices and regretted it immensely.

Very crowded and poorly organized. Even with a reservation, we waited 45 minutes just to get our food.

The staff at the front seemed confused and had no clear system for managing reservations or walk-ins. People were left waiting by the door with no direction.

If the restaurant isn’t prepared to handle this number of customers, they shouldn’t be offering reservations at all. Very disappointing experience.

Used to absolutely love this place. Not entirely sure what happened. Took five of us there for my daughter’s birthday and only one of the entrées was worth eating. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

Called in to surprise my friends with a cheesecake when they were celebrating a birthday. Amber was super helpful and displayed great service as she helped me complete the order. Thanks Amber!

The Cheesecake Factory – Extremely Disappointing & Unacceptable Service My family and I just flew into Tampa for the weekend and chose The Cheesecake Factory to kick off a family member’s birthday celebration before meeting the rest of our relatives. Unfortunately, what should have been a joyful and relaxing start to our trip turned into an uncomfortable and upsetting experience due entirely to our server, Amber. From the very beginning, Amber displayed a poor attitude. When my cousin politely asked for light ice in her water while Amber was already walking toward another table, Amber responded in an extremely rude and dismissive tone, saying, “Well, I’m already at another table. You will have to wait.” The response was unnecessary and unprofessional. At that point, I already felt uncomfortable and considered leaving, as I do not tolerate disrespect from anyone handling my food. My cousins encouraged us to stay and let it go, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, the behavior escalated. As Amber brought the bread to our table, my cousin calmly asked if we could have more brown bread. Amber then slammed the bread basket onto the table, creating a scene so noticeable that other guests turned around to look. The action was shocking, aggressive, and completely inappropriate for someone in a customer-facing role. At that point, I spoke up and asked her what her problem was. She responded in a nonchalant and rude manner, showing zero accountability, zero professionalism, and a complete lack of customer service skills. We had done nothing but sit down and politely make basic requests, yet we were met with open hostility. Her behavior made our entire party feel unwelcome, disrespected, and uncomfortable. We immediately got up and asked to speak with a manager. We spoke with Lauren, who was kind and apologetic, but unfortunately unable to resolve the situation in a meaningful way. The proposed solution was to move us from outside seating to inside and “start over” with a new server. At that point, the experience was already ruined. The final offer made was a slice of cheesecake, which did not come close to addressing the disrespect we experienced. We chose to leave and instead went next door to Rocco’s Tacos, where we were treated with warmth, professionalism, and appreciation—exactly how guests should be treated. After leaving, I took the time to read other reviews and was disappointed—but not surprised—to see that this was not Amber’s first complaint, including a negative review mentioning her just a week prior. That is deeply concerning. An employee who repeatedly creates uncomfortable situations for guests is actively damaging your brand. While Lauren assured me that the issue would be addressed, the fact that similar complaints continue suggests that this behavior is being tolerated. If an employee continues to act this way despite prior complaints, it sends the message that there are no real consequences. I also cannot ignore the level of hostility shown toward us, which raised serious concerns. It genuinely made me question whether race played a role—something that is troubling and unacceptable in any establishment. This experience was embarrassing, uncomfortable, and completely avoidable. I strongly urge management to take a closer look at this situation before more customers walk away feeling the same way we did. Extremely disappointed.

Hello I visited The Cheesecake Factory located at the International Mall on Friday night the 23rd of January! Didn’t have a chance to order because our server Amber made us feel we were asking for too much when a relative of mine asked for “lite ice” as the server was walking away, she didn’t respond by saying excuse me I’ll be right with you or hold on a minute or two she went to the the table next to us and turned to us with a snotty attitude and stated “well I’m already at another table you have to wait’ we brushed it off even though we felt a little offended! When Amber returned to the table with bread my cousin simply asked “can we get brown bread please?” Amber then said YES and slammed the tray of bread on the table, my family were really frustrated at this point and said oh no we’re leaving and proceeded to ask the server her name she yelled out it’s Amber and walked off! I’m not sure what was going on with Amber that night but apparently she is dealing with something and brought it to work with her instead of leaving it at home! We ended up leaving and asked the hostess for the manager who happen to be sweet Lauren! Although Lauren wasn’t able to truly resolve the situation but did offer a slice of cheesecake to me because it was my birthday, personally don’t like cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory being from NY we have the most delicious cheesecakes(Junior’s cheesecake) to be exact however I did take her up on the offer and figured I’d give it to my granddaughter! In conclusion we ended up eating at Rocco’s Taco next door which the staff were simply nice professional respectful and kind! The public should respect servers and feel patrons should be respected in return! Being kind never goes out of style! I know first hand that it isn’t easy to deal with public as a community nurse however I always remember customer service and at the end of the day I reflect my hospital! Always keeping in mind that the public has a choice in choosing a different hospital, with that being said Amber needs to be trained given an inservice in customer service it will make such a difference reflecting your restaurant chain! Once again thank you to the manager Lauren for the simple fact of being kind!

Always have a consistent experience at Cheesecake Factory. Love the bread and butter. Such a huge menu, I had the corn tamale cakes.

Bad service, moody employees, slow service. I ordered online and even though my order was there, and ready, I had to wait 20 mins because I had to wait in the line again. Whats the purpose of online order if I have to wait in line anyways?

I placed an on-line order for pick up. Upon clicking the order button the website gave me an error. I tried calling the restaurant to see if the order went through. I could hardly understand the employee that answered the phone, it sounded like they were 15' from the phone. I was placed on hold to which the individual never returned. After 10 minutes on hold I figured if the service is THAT bad I best not try the food

The service was an all time slow. See specifically order food without onions, waitress canceled the order because it had onions. Waiter brought it out anyway after 30 minutes and lied that it didn’t have onions! Really bad
