This spot is great if you can catch a seat. Bartenders are always nice and friendly. Food could be wayyyyy better though.

Was a decent little bar to sit at while waiting for our flight. However when I checked my credit card bill, I noticed my 33% tip was changed to a 50% tip when my card was actually charged. Will be filing a dispute, and will also be calling in a complaint. I believe the bartender who ran my card was named Sally, dark red/auburn hair in a pony tail. Heavier set.Keep an eye on your statement if you’re paying by card and/or pay cash if you can.

Turkey club was good for a quick bite while I waited for my connecting flight. Brittany did a good job of making sure I had everything that I needed including a cold beer.

My plane was delayed so while I waited I grabbed a drink. Service was friendly and quick. I ordered the Sparkling Guava Margarita that was good.

The typical airport experience but the food was not too bad. Had a Cuban & a turkey sandwich that we split and both were very solid but as expected, overpriced. A small selection of beers as well, would like more local options.

When I sat down the customer service was good but when I ask for a drink I watched the bar tender make my drink it was supposed to be a Dubble I watched he under pour my drink I asked him was it a Dubble he replied it’s not my fault the price is higher then other places I was confused and didn’t understand why the price was a issue when clearly it was the under pour I have been a bar tender for 13 years and never have I experienced such activity then after I asked him about it he got upset and never came to see if I needed anything else my experience was not good and will not be returning in the photo is the guy

Best Cuban in Tampa…. So far. No this is not a high end restaurant. It is a bar in the Tampa airport in the American Airlines F wing. But I gotta say I have had Cuban sandwiches all over Tampa and this place is hands down my favorite. Meat is marinated in house. Been here over a dozen times. Staff has always been super polite. Today my original flight was canceled…. Only saving Grace were the drinks and Cubans at Gasparilla Bar!

Worst experience I've had in a long, long time. I am 26 but have a bit of a baby face. I sat at the bar and ordered a drink and the bartended proceeded to call me a "youngin." This is normally not an issue but when combined with the other issues, it was incredibly disrespectful. I ordered a drink (way overpriced but just kind of went with it because that's how airports are) and it was okay. I also ordered a turkey sandwich. My server then gave me a thumbs up and turned around to the register. I assumed he was putting my order in at this point. Over an hour later, I still didn't have my sandwich. Instead, there was ONE lady making sandwiches despite FOUR men behind the bar (a total of 5 employees). In addition, the men were consistently checking on other customers but did not once check on me or my fiance to see if we were still okay or needed anything. After finishing my drink, I loudly slurped the last bit up (unintentional) and one of the servers turned around. He glanced at me and my fiance and then continued to have a conversation with other patrons. I finally asked for the check, and the the bartender near us asked who we were. The first bartender called "don't worry about them, they're mine." We left, I gave a better tip than they deserved (I'm still young enough to acknowledge people need a fair wage) and promptly walked down to Cigar City Brewing Co.It's incredible what a difference this bar was considering there is ONE bartender/server who immediately walked over, was patient, and super kind. Don't waste your time at the The Gasparilla - just go straight to Cigar City. Much cheaper and much better service.

1.) I ordered a Turkey Club Sandwich and the sandwich was made by this woman (not my server) with ear gauges, is about 5’3” or 5’4”, has brunette hair, white, wears winged eyeliner, and looks to be in her late 20s maybe early 30s. Her name tag was flipped and I was unable to catch her name. When she was about to serve the food to me, the top piece of bread fell. She then picked up the piece of bread and put it back on the sandwich in front of me, and then thought it was okay to serve it to me. I then asked her if she can give me a sandwich where the bread didn’t fall, and she looked at me with an attitude. I do appreciate her not saying anything back and fixing her mistake. However, what she did was absolutely disgusting and I would just keep an eye on her if she is your server to make sure you aren’t getting dirty food.2.) My actual server was named Julius and for the first 20 minutes after I ordered, he was serving a few people who came after me drinks, and was taking payments from people who were done, but forgot to bring me my drink. I actually received my food before I even received my drink. I had to ask him for my drink and he kindly did make it and apologized for the wait. He was kind for his mistake and I appreciate that, unlike the young woman who tried to serve me dirty food.Overall, this place has terrible service and hire employees that have no consideration for others. Also, the sandwich was decent but not $17 worthy. Because of almost being served dirty food if I did not catch it and the long wait for my drink, I will not be eating or drinking here ever again. Good luck!

As far as airport restaurants and bars go this one is enjoyable thanks to the great service and quick pannini noses. Shon, Dennis and Michelle worked together seamless, with smiles and put a lot of care into how the sandwichs were assemble and how quickly the partons were served.

I live in Texas now so I haven’t had a real Cuban sandwich in so long!! My mom brought me one back this morning and I am in Heaven right now!! The pork was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the mustard on the side was a perfect touch!! IMO the best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had!!
