The brown stew chicken was perfectly spiced not too sweet. The rice was so good that it didn't even need any sauce. Try the oxtail so tender and flavorful. The sorrow was so refreshing cant wait to try the curry goat

The ox tail cost 36 dollars and they give you only 5 to 6 piece of ox tail it’s. It worth the money I do not recommend this restaurant

My family goes all the time and the kept talking about the BEST JAMAICAN FOOD IN TOWN. We’re oxtail lovers!!! These were falling off the bone and season perfectly. Highly recommend!

My first time in Tampa, Florida and my wife and I being Jamaican food lovers or jerk heads, saw on a sign from the street, “The Hummingbird Jerk House.” We new immediately that we had to stop and eat at the place. I am so glad my wife saw the sign, we ate and my God the food is absolutely authentic and delicious. Everything was amazing. If you visit Tampa, Florida you must find this place and eat. I plan to eat here again two or three times before I leave.

Im sorry but idk what the other reviews are talking about. The food was so good and flavors galore. I had the LG Jerk chicken and beef patty. I ordered another to go for lunch the next day. The only issue was the price but that seems to be the times we are living in. Everything is expensive. I don't mind if the food is good.. the food was great. Omg and the banana porridge!!! Go try for yourself. I will be back for sure.

The food was just ok! What disturbed me is they didn't give me any curry gravy on my rice?
When I asked for some gravy, they gave me a small container (shown below) of curry. Then, they put chicken fingers on my plate with the real chicken (shown below). What a cheap way to handle business.

I appreciate that they are authentic to the cuisine. I enjoyed my first visit there, and was very excited to see, festivals, and fry dumplings. Also a wide array of meat patties. They were recommended to me, and I have, and will recommend others to visit them.

We ordered jerk chicken meal which was delicious- sauce on chicken was really good, so was cabbage. Enjoyed the hibiscus drink also. Will be back. Service was also very friendly.
