I wish I found out about this spot sooner! It’s a really good and clean Jamaican spot! I appreciate the cabbage not being soggy or super greasy. It was really good

I didn’t get anything because they were closed, I tried calling dial number 8 times no answer, I wanted to know if they had ackee before I drive down there, I am 8 miles away, this is today August ninth, when I got there someone came to the door and said they are closed, it said open when I googled them, I feel they could of have a recording advising they are closed, my time was wasted.
My wife and I came here randomly and it was our first time here but not first time having Jamaican food. The owner greeted us with a big smile and asked us what we would like. Since it was our first time here he recommend the lunch special I got jerk chicken, rice and peas and fried plantains. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce was very good. He came by to check in on us. I would 1000 percent come back! Next time I'll try the ox tail or curry goat. Can't wait to eat here again:)

We ordered the brown stew chicken and curry chicken from Hummingbird Jerk House via DoorDash, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The food arrived at a perfect temperature, and the portion sizes were extremely generous. We had enough to last two days!
In a city where many restaurants have been hit-or-miss lately, this was a pleasant surprise.

First time here I have to say the last time I had curry goat was when I took a vacation to the Caribbean. I was not disappointed in the flavor, quality, spice and my overall experience. The portions are generous but these flavors are not instant, you can tell a lot of time effort and love go into that pot. My better half ordered the oxtails and WOW! The richness of flavors down to the meat falling off the bones was nothing short of spectacular!!!! Felt like I was back in the islands. Try the Jamaican juice if you’re a fan of ginger.
Highly recommend to anyone! I’m coming back to try the beef patties that were sold out which isn’t an issue as I’ll definitely be back!

food was okay, false advertistment on doordash, the curry chicken i got was suppose to come with plantains, but only chicken with the rice , wasnt greeted, the dude in there looked high as a kite

DELICIOUS!!! As soon as we landed in Tampa from Oklahoma City we searched for a Jamacian restaurant and found this place. We ordered a medium oxtail and a stew chicken dinner. The food was SO flavorful and the portions were huge. It was enough for 2 meals. We would highly recommended eating here if you want some GOOD Jamaican food.
