Seriously the best coffee in Tampa and absolutely worth driving over the bridge for. The baristas are hands down the best, always going above and beyond. Their house made syrups are incredible, the beans are top-notch and there’s always a solid selection, so you really can’t go wrong. The food is just as good (anything from the empanada case is a must). The dog friendly vibe creates such a great atmosphere and makes the place even more welcoming. Also if there’s a line, don’t worry. It moves fast and is totally worth it, every time.

Great experience, friendly staff, awesome food, perfect atmosphere. I came in for the first time today and got the chicken & cheese empanada and a matcha late. Both were delicious! The empanada portions are generous and there was filling all the way through (not filled with air). I got the iced Matcha late made with Oat Milk and it's exactly what I wanted ! 10/10 great experience, I'II 100% be back!

I love the lab coffee! This location has more seating than the seminole heights location if you wanted to eat in. It can get kind of loud and you will smell like kitchen smoke when you leave. But still 5 stars because my iced latte and breakfast burrito is always SO good every. single. time. Also, the baristas are friendly and never look annoyed even when the line is wrapping around the coffee shop.

It’s really the best coffee in all of Tampa. The place itself is so nice and the environment is so chill and relaxing. The service is always great and they consistently make amazing coffee. The empanadas are also amazing. They have roasted coffee in bags and it’s amazing.

Went here to study and got the bagel and coffee. Bagel and coffee was great, but the wifi is limited to 60 minutes and even DURING that 60 minutes it completely sucks and would not load most basic pages including Google half the time. Could not study on their wifi in any way, wasted a trip.

I’ve been coming to Lab Coffee for years but just getting around to giving a review. Their pour overs are what I love and keep coming back for, Ethiopian yergacheffe gedeb has an amazingly smooth , ‘earthy?’ and a bit sweetish flavorful taste. The pour over system they have is a relatively quick process so there’s not much waiting. The vibe is chill and they have these empanadas which are to die for. Even the espresso drinks have a choice of single origin or blend , highly recommend this coffee shop!
