Everything is perfect about this place EXCEPT the parking situation and maybe even the hours. Many coffee places open at 7am and many still close latest by 4pm.
The hours suggest that this place is exclusively brunch. Not breakfast which you can have the earliest by 7am and not lunch which you can grab latest by 3pm.
There is a gym, I think, right next to them and the gym has parking. However on the weekend that lot was empty, a waste of space tbh, that could have been used by The Lab customers.
They make their coffee wonderfully! Prices are comparable with the market and are actually unbeatable for the quality.
I love that Tampa has The Lab as its local roasters. Something to always look forward to visiting when in the area!

At 8:30am today 11/8/2025. I came in. I am lactose intolerant so i asked the lady at the register if there are empanadas that do not have cheese. She told me the chicken does not have cheese. I ordered it, my first bite was with cheese. I went back to the counter and confronted her she then claims she told me all of the empanadas all have cheese. I dont know if she is high, drunk or just pure dumb. Employ more smart people. You can do better.

I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of this place! I just happened to be around the corner from it and figured I’d give it a shot.
The coffee was perfectly balanced. I get so tired of other coffee shops overdoing the sweetness in their coffees. This place got it right!
I also tried the blueberry scone and the coffee cake muffin, and both were fantastic. Quality coffee, quality food, very fair prices, and a great humble down-to-earth atmosphere. I wish it was on my way to work- I’d come here every day.

Great place for Coffee and Breakfast. Coffee is GREAT! We got just drop coffee and it's got great flavor, not watery, perfect. Breakfast sandwiches were really good. Food came out fast. Great place!

Great speciality coffee, flat white was perfect, and the barista made me an off-menu iced pour over which was delicious. Loved the bagel sandwiches! Not a ton of indoor seating for a big group, but smalls group can find places.

The Lab is easily my favorite coffee shop in Tampa! The coffee and food are fantastic, and the service is unmatched! Every time I walk in (to either of their 2 locations), I am greeted with a warm welcome and smile. All of the baristas have such positive vibes; it’s truly a great way to start your day!!!
