Great place. Nice atmosphere and great coffees
Skye the Kava tender is awesome. She's super fun to sit at the bar and just hang out and shoot the breeze. I love the atmosphere and the cushy couches. Open mic night was super fun event tonight. Viby Ivy ran an awesome event tonight. Every second Tuesday!

The Muddy Root Kava Cafe is a great neighborhood coffee and kava bar with a chill and welcoming vibe. The service is fantastic and the staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, taking time to explain the different drinks. The atmosphere is casual with very comfy couches. The kava is strong enough and the kratom drinks are top quality. Specific drinks like the Mocha Coffee are excellent, and staff are creative with non-caffeine options. It is a perfect spot to relax, meet good people, and unwind for hours without the bar scene, making it a favorite kava bar in the Tampa area.
