Tried this restaurant on Valentine’s Day. A little crowded, but we didn’t mind waiting. They were clearly busy. I wanted the lamb chops, but they were out. So I ordered the ribeye (cooked medium) with mac and cheese and broccoli. They gave me green beans instead of broccoli (they were alright) and I don’t know what kind of meat. Not sure if it was actually ribeye or some kind of pork steak. It was both very fatty and dry and looked more like white meat. She also asked if I wanted it sliced, which I said yes because that would be convenient since we were getting it to go. It was not sliced. Irks me when someone offers something I wasn’t even thinking about and I agree because, hey that’s a good idea, and then they don’t follow through. My husband got the jerk ribs and wings combo with Mac and cheese and the rice. He said the wings were red good, but small and the ribs were good but not jerk. He liked the rice, I liked the Mac and cheese, he didn’t. Wasn’t worth the drive all the way from Orlando. Probably won’t go back.

I DoorDash for a living it took them 30 minutes to make this meal, which was 20 minutes past the amount of time that they originally said horrible restaurant. I wouldn’t suggest anybody comes here.

Tried this spot today and overall had a great experience. I ordered the jerk ribs with two sides—mac and cheese and veggies. The jerk ribs were amazing, packed with flavor and easily the highlight of my plate. The veggies (green beans today) were okay—nothing spectacular, but not bad either.
The mac and cheese was a little disappointing. It tasted like there might have been some truffle oil added, which wasn’t bad flavor-wise, but it really lacked sauce. It was more noodles and flavor than a creamy, cheesy dish. When I think of mac and cheese, I expect gooey cheese sauce, and this just didn’t have that. If the sauce was increased, it could be really good.
I also tried my partner’s dish—garlic parmesan lamb chops with shrimp and mashed potatoes—and wow, that plate was so good. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were creamy and full of flavor, and the shrimp were amazing. He doesn’t even like shrimp and still wanted more.
Overall, great flavors and definitely worth checking out.

Pasta is way too creamy. Yellow rice taste as if it’s blowed up I can’t really explain it but very much on basic side… crab cake was $10 and not worth it all for the size but the taste was good it was full and meat but again I had better . The menu never changes and also the selection on the menu is very few to choose from the service is great. The atmosphere is great. The only thing that changes is the juice of the day and the dessert of the day that’s if and when they have it, food is not celebrity chef quality, but it’s not nasty Neither just needs a few changes, but I’m not wanting to knock anyone’s hustle so to each his own. but the prices does not match the taste .

The Outside Kitchen is the spot to go get some great food with great portions. Want to impress some family from out of town with great food? Bring home something from here and I know they’ll be impressed. I’ve been few times and every time they’ve met and exceeded my expectations. Locally black owned and look for the line outside, that many people waiting patiently you know the food has to be good.

Today I went to order food for the first time here and it definitely wasn’t a disappointment everything was delicious. I mean from the pasta to the crab cake the presentation of the food comes out just like in picture a most to check out and I’m definitely will be back and visit.
