Tiny Tap Tavern Reviews
I couldn’t wait to get To Tiny Tap tavern in Hyde Park. It’s the kind of place that everyone will feel comfortable in, especially with Michelle as the bartender. She told me all the history of Tiny Tap Tavern. Cheap beer, 50 cent pool, what else is their in this world? Oh, forget, WiFi too.
brilliant little pub, great atmosphere, friendly patrons, brilliant staff

Established in 1934, Tiny Tap Tavern in Soho Tampa is known as the best dive bar in the area. This cozy tavern serves beer and wine, making it perfect for people watching, playing pool, and enjoying a lively atmosphere. The addition of a Venezuelan food truck offering Arepas, Cachapas, Empanadas, and more has made it a one-stop destination, although some find the food truck's offerings lacking. While the drinks selection may not be extensive, the tavern is ideal for making new friends, enjoying cheap beer, and experiencing a nostalgic vibe that transports visitors back in time. It is a classic gem of Tampa, attracting a diverse crowd that encourages good conversation. The bartenders may not be overly attentive, but they are friendly, and the bar games and decent music enhance the experience. For those looking for a chill night playing pool or darts, Tiny Tap Tavern remains a perfect neighborhood spot to unwind. The atmosphere feels like stepping back into 1980, with a scent that reminds some of a Best Western in a good way. The owner, Casey, is usually there and is known for great chat, adding to the welcoming environment. The tavern offers two pool tables with very good prices for pool, beer, wine, and seltzer. The bartenders, including one named Mike, are always accommodating. The outside food truck provides reasonably priced food and good service. Parking can be a little challenging at times, but the overall experience makes it worth visiting repeatedly.
