This place has a real issue with IDs. The server was rude and when I handed her my ID, she told me it was fake. She barely even glanced it. I will not be coming back.

If you judge bars by square footage, Tiny Tap Tavern will confuse you. If you judge bars by vibes, cold beer, and glorious chaos, it might ruin all other bars for you.

This place is a certified Tampa dive legend. The beers are aggressively cold—the kind of cold that makes you briefly question your dental health—and the atmosphere feels like you accidentally wandered into a friend’s backyard party that’s been going strong since 2003.

Food? Oh, they have food. Technically. For a dollar, you can choose from an elite selection of gas-station chips and assemble what can only be described as a redneck charcuterie board. Doritos. Cheetos. Maybe a Slim Jim if you’re feeling fancy. Pair it with a beer and suddenly you’re a sommelier of bad decisions.

Still hungry? No problem. Just walk five feet outside and boom—Mexican fair food appears like a culinary mirage. Tacos, elotes, churros… Tiny Tap doesn’t need a kitchen when the universe provides.

Tiny Tap Tavern isn’t trying to impress you. It doesn’t care about trends, mixology, or matching furniture. It cares about cold beer, good company, and letting you live your best dive-bar life. And honestly? That’s perfect.

Delaney will take excellent care of you!

garbage. Never going again and I recommend others find somewhere else as well.

Respectfully, please keep your words as you’ve publicly stated. Can’t imagine trusting a business that literally lied to the entire Tampa community.

Great local dive bar. Diverse crowd. No liquor, no food, and I think cash only. It is the “Cheers” of Tampa. The bartenders really did seem to know everyone’s name. We were there for a Tampa Bay Buccaneers football game and the place was pretty crowded and lively. We will definitely go back if we’re in the area again.

I visit Tampa a few times a year and always work in a visit to Tiny Tap. Great people, fun atmosphere and good prices.

The owner, Casey is usually there and is a great chat.

Stop in and you won’t be disappointed.

Real ID’s are being claimed as fake! Bartender took drink aways even though all IDs were real.

This bar doesn't know how to treat people. Bartender clearly does not know how to do her job and put her hands on people. Do not come here if you are under 30 or they will not serve you. Never seen anything like it

The lady working the bar is absolutely crazy. Do not go here if you ANY other options. She does not know how to check ID’s and is extremely disrespectful.

Absolutely terrible service. My friends and I all 21+ and the bartender thought half the IDs were fake, but still charged for drinks that she physically snatched out of our hands. Never seen anything like it. Don’t waste your time

Person working the bar on 10/24 was completely out of of line. Assaulted people in my party and claimed everyone had Fake IDs even though everyone was over the age of 25. Her response was to call the non emergency line to validate IDs and took our drinks that were already paid for
