Wow! What a wonderful way to give back to the community! Monday thru Friday they serve lunch to the displaced, homeless and anyone who needs a got meal no questions lines, registration needed or asked! Doors open at 1130-12:15 please come in take a seat anywhere you’d like and volunteers like me would serve you based on the menu for the day! Thanks to Feeding TampaBay for this awesome cafe. Sunday and Saturday breakfast is served enjoy hot coffee, a host at your table and friendly service a/c and outlets!

As a security officer who has been working for feeding Tampa bay for over 4 years at both locations on Nebraska and Busch Blvd as of yesterday being my last day, I am no longer an employee anymore, it disappoints me that one of their managers Jeremy gloth who is a manager/supervisor for both locations has disrespected and humiliated me and didn't respect me as a man, mr Jeremy gloth is a control freak who sees everything as his way or the highway, my most recent encounter with mr Jeremy was him telling to do responsibilities that are outside of security work like chasing around the groups who provide free government cellphones when they are off our property, i advised mr jeremy gloth who's a feeding tampa bay manager/supervisor that my responsibilities as a security officer is to protect human life , prevent theft and to maintain safety at the premises and to observe and report security situations that take place on property, and anything outside of the property is not my responsibility, mr jeremy told me that I should be following these people who provide free government cellphones and that I should be calling code enforcement on them even though they are not on our property,I told him that that's not my responsibility, mr Jeremy responded that my responsibilities are whatever he says it is and that if I'm not going to do whatever he says, then this is not the job for me, he then stormed out the room that we were talking in and ran to his office to tell my employer that feeding Tampa bay doesn't want me as a security guard anymore and that I should be replaced, the next day I came to work, mr jeremy gloth has came up to me wanting to talk to me again , I told him that i didn't feel like talking, especially because of how the last conversation went , mr jeremy disrespected me , humiliated me and then pushed for me to get fired because he couldn't get his way with me even though he was wrong,so when I told him that I didn't feel like talking ,he walked away and made some calls and then returned to me and said your security services are not needed here and that I should leave, whenever i got home my employer who I am contracted with had told me that i cant come back to work at trinity cafe,one thing i don't tolerated is bullying and I will always stand up for myself when i am right , the same way rosa parks stood on that bus, whenever i reached out to chef Daniel and Ms Ronda who are his higher ups for feeding Tampa bay at trinity cafe,both refused to take action or education mr Jeremy on his rights and wrongs, and to coach him on the way he's been bullying me, I hope the next security guards don't encounter the same bullying and disrespect and humiliation that I received and that these type of situations are dealt with appropriately, because security lives matter , ps the other manager mark kitchen is amazing and I recommend him for promotion, he's 5 out of 5 starts ⭐ and as far a trinity cafes dining room experience and food, ill give them 5 starts, they do a lot for the community and they actually care,
My new favorite eatery. Even though it's for us the homeless of Tampa Bay. We are welcomed and treated as though we are paying customers. I would like to think all workers and volunteers for exceptional service and for providing a wonderful energy filled environment as myself and others in my situation get through these trying and difficult times. May God bless and fill your life with joy and prosperity.
