Had the egg and steak bowl. It wasn't served in a bowl, but the food was delicious. I also tried the peach cheese cake and loved it. It's definitely a place I would recommend.

This is a very busy restaurant with a rather small parking lot. However, if you get lucky enough to park and go in, take your time going over the menu. Everything we've had there was delicious and prepared just right! Enjoy!!

Everything was amazing. The onion strings are absolutely delicious. Really, everything was delicious. We had Shrimp and Grits, the Egg Platter, and the String Onions. If you happen to be in Tampa, this diner is a must do. The service is excellent.

Expressing my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent experience at your diner
On August 10, 2024, I called to place an order and encountered significant issues from the moment the young lady answered the phone. She appeared overwhelmed and rushed, which hindered our communication. Consequently, my order was taken incorrectly, and when my order was picked up, it was missing the grits—something I had specifically looked forward to, as they are a signature dish at Trips Diner. When I called back to address this issue, I spoke with Sam, who seemed unresponsive to my concerns. I mentioned that I was feeling unwell and did not want to spread my illness by coming into the restaurant. However, her response was dismissive, suggesting that I come in anyway. This lack of empathy was disheartening. Afterward, I managed to speak with the general manager, who offered me a credit for grits on my next visit, but I felt that this was insufficient given the circumstances. I requested a refund instead, as I do not believe I should have to return to your establishment to rectify an error that was not my fault. I genuinely hope that this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers do not have to endure a similar experience.

Best 3 egg veggie omelette I've had in a long time. I ordered with home fries & English muffin. A lot of food for really great price! Only negative was trying to find a parking space lol. Was packed on a Saturday morning, but price and food quality was worth the wait.
