The food is decent for an area lacking in latin/spanish food. The service is terrible! The women behind the counter won’t acknowledge you when you walk in and act super bothered when you order. During check out, they won’t even say the price or hand you a receipt. The food is not THAT good to put up with bad service. I don’t recommend Tropical Cuisine esp if you are not spanish-speaking. Drive a little further out to Armenia Ave for good latin restaurants w/ good service.Parking: Lots of potholes in the parking lot

First of all, no friendly greetings or suggestive sales (meat or bread)! All I got was a small portion of grits (see photo) and 2 eggs and it cost me $7.51! I didn't see the breakfast prices and wouldn't have paid $6.99! Never more! I'm going to Punta Cana!! ??? I could have gone to Wendy's to get an egg and cheese biscuit with seasoned potato wedges for $3.23! So I'm not happy!!!

Food was very good. They give u a ton of food so plan for leftovers! Staff was a lil aggravated but not with the customers lol, but I do understand working with the same people every day to where u could kinda get a lil grumpy with them now and then. ? Besides that the lady who helped me was very kind, quick and gave me her full attention until I was given my to go food and checked out. Overall it was a great experience with great food.
The food was good had the beef stew that was really good but the rice did not care for, I make better spanish rice I had the whiterice and it was hard why serve ppl hard rice but if u get there early may be different. I would eat there again. Place was clean ?

Food was soooooo good !! Didn’t make it out of the parking lot before me and my kids ate my plate. I got rice and peas with stew chicken and plantains. Had to sent my husband back inside for another plate ??

I ordered a chicken soup the carrots in the soup where clean. They left the skin on the carrot. The carrot had the black skin still in it. Also they servee mostly broth... only 2 small pieces of chicken.. and it was a large soup.

I walked in and found the ladies providing the food service to be unfriendly, rude, and pushy. I hope others will see this review and decide to choose another restaurant to eat at. @ Management, there needs change. Diversity should be the first change in the establishment.

Excellent Latin/Caribbean food. Ordered from their catering menu for a family reunion. Vanessa helped me with the ordering process and made suggestions as to the quantity and possible selections. Food was ready on time and was delicious, especially the sancocho and pernil. La comida es deliciosa y el servicio muy bueno!
