Love this type of a whole in the wall. All women cooking and serving with a pleasant and warm attitude! The waitress was a like a friend you've know for a long time.
This is a place if I lived closed by would be in at least once a week to try everything on the menu.
Its nice when the high score and accolades match your own experience. I will return

Today I had to come visit Tampa.I specifically did a Google search for best Cubans in the area. And this particular shop came up in the top five of the list.
Parking is very difficult to find , as it's a small shop with very little parking.
The menu appears to be three pages of different options for breakfast , lunch and of course , what they consider their specialties.
Counter service , sit down service with small four top tables.
I do not have any sweeter, sweet tea.And all of the soda products are in cans in a cooler.
Apparently. The big deal at this location is what's called an obama cuban. The only thing different about it is it has honey on it.
I also ordered the devil crab. It came to the table burst open.I inquired if that was normal , they said yes. They only had one variety of hot sauce , which was an off brand not tabasco , not crystal , not pete's not franks , some other off brand.
In general , I would say that the interior to the crab was undercooked and cold.
The Cubans sandwich, when they press the outside, was brittle hard. And the meat section was only about a quarter inch thick , which was three or four slice pieces of ham.
I would not rank this as a great cuban or devil crab experience.
There are other places to go with better product. For twenty five dollars out the door cash.

Eggs and hash brown were drowning in grease. Pancakes tasted like batter, took 2 bites and threw it in the trash.

Compared to other Cuban sandwich shops I see the hype $9 can really get you a nice big Cuban. And it’s pretty good I still think there are better out there. Let me know where to try next πŸ˜‰
