Not Spirou's, now Asteri...

Remain A.

This restaurant has changed names. It is no longer known as Spirou's. Also the two pictures of uncooked meat I believe was posted for this restaurant by mistake. In one you can clearly see two naked feet on the lower side of the picture. Also, there are no tile counters or tables in this restaurant. It would be nice if Yelp would remove those pictures. The name of Spirou's was changed to Asteris. It is still operating. The phone number hasn't even changed.

Simply Outstanding!! In all area's, it's great to see old school hard at work.

My wife and I loved going there on Sunday for breakfast because of special menu and out of this world special breakfast such as their Apple Dutch pancake , but now with the new ownership they just have ordinary specials nothing to really set them apart. Everyone is very nice and attentive but I really enjoyed the previous owners menu much more

Clean, well prepared food with an attractive presentation. Reasonable prices and very pleasant staff and friendly staff. Home style cooking and extensive menu. Consistently pleasing.

So disappointing. We have been to Spirous in the past and it has always been delicious, not this time. Pancakes were tasteless, almost like they had too much flour in them. My husband's potatoes tasted terrible, like they were old terrible. Stars are only for the service, which was excellent. I dont know if the place has changed owners, but we won't be returning anytime soon.

Super disappointed. We use to eat here several times a month. They are under new ownership. A lot of the items are gone from the menu. My scrambled eggs were super greasy and I tried the turkey bacon which tasted out of date. So they changed it for bacon which wasnt much better so the quality of ingredients is off. The new owner walked by multiple times and never asked how things were. Needless to say I was sick with in minutes of leaving. Very sad considering how much we enjoyed this place. Hopefully they get better

They have a rather extensive menu for breakfast. The portion is huge!! Honestly, I wish they are a bit smaller, I'd rather have quality over quantity - not to say that their food is bad. The orange pecan french toast is thick and soft, but too sweet for my taste. I like how they ask how you want your home fries cooked, we asked for crispy and they did it exactly the way we like it. Staff is really friendly. They offer gluten free french toast too, for those who prefer it.
