My girlfriend and I were looking for a good place to eat in the tarpon area as we were exploring and we came across this gem. The food was delicious! The lady working there gave exceptional service. Very sweet and met all our needs with so much grace. Highly recommend their hibachi and sushi!

I stopped in at Taste of Japan with a friend and I ordered the hibachi chicken and a fried sushi roll. The fried sushi roll was amazing we loved it. The hibachi chicken was alright. I would definitely recommend checking out the sushi if you have never been.

The miso soup was delicious, and so flavorful. But the sushi was so-so, the tropical was better with soy sauce. The eel was ok, but blandish. Vegetables in the fried rice tasted great, not too much water or overcooked, but the rice was on the bland side. Jada(waitress with pink hair) was so sweet, she started recently but she's very attentive and not overbearing.
