Acropolis in Tarpon Springs is 100% recommended! The food is exceptional, and the atmosphere is even better. We will definitely be coming back!
We were on our way to get gyros from a.lace I went to almost 10 years ago. We booked a cruise at the spongerama and this restaurant was in front of the office. We came across a very friendly kid in a toga offering snacks. They were delicious! So we decided to stay and try this place instead. The kid in the toga was so friendly and nice he took care of us. Our waitress was very hospitable and seasoned she knew how to do her job! The food was excellent we had lamb gyros lunch special...
We went on a Friday night, and it was a top notch experience. They're open later than a lot of the restaurants down town, and we happened to catch some fantastic live music.
Service was really good, despite how busy they were, and the food was top notch.
It was loud but we sat on the patio and we're able to talk no problem.
