“Traveling, wanted seafood at the last minute. Service was great, welcomed us in even though it was closing time. My only hang up was that the shrimp are not deveined or split down the back, so we just ordered sausage and corn and the taste was really good, nice spicy heat to it.“

“My new favorite restaurant! After living in Japan for four years I can vouch for the authenticity of the food. It's affordable and delicious!!!Vegetarian options: No need for meat. There was more than enough veggies to fill you up and you can even switch out the soup bases. The curry base with the veggies was delicious!“

“If you love Nola and live in Tampa visit this restaurant. Tibbys New Orleans kitchen will provide New Orleans inspired dishes while the providing a clean (not New Orleans like in that sense) environment decorated with New Orleans based items. The place is cool inside but feels more like a Vegas version of New Orleans. Lacks the live music, old buildings and historic feel (because only Nola can ever provide that) but still a cool place to be in. The food is more Nola inspired than authentic Nola but still delicious. Bottomless mimosas/bloody Mary’s or sangria available during brunch. Overall a 4 star rating. Prices are Nola compatible if you know what I mean.“

“I enjoyed my meal and the service that was provided. As soon as I sat down, I was serviced and it didn’t take long for my food to come out. I had the house salad, volcano burger and a cup of gumbo. Everything was well seasoned and tasted great. The cup of gumbo was extremely spicy I must say. It kind of overpowered the actual taste of the soup. If you are into spicy things that would be good for you. All in all I had a great experience.“

“It was the peak of October 2012 and I was just on my new medication at the food court. Virtually everything was closed after my shift at Macys. I don’t remember who but a Wonderful Young Female Owner or Clerk offered me her noodles and rice or something for a discounted price…. It literally saved my life possibly bc I was about to faint because I needed food. Thank You to the Asian Culture for selflessly taking care of people in need. ❤️❤️Thank You Bourbon Street for having such wonderful people. Also the Food Was Delish! Thank You ??❤️❤️Vegetarian options: I loved the food.“

“We were in town for an industry conference. We had recommendations from the hotel concierge for "high end" dining in the area. We opted for local at the Big Easy. We could not have been more impressed with our visit. We reserved a table for 6 with a direct phone call. From the appetizers, main courses, dessert, and high-end liquor selection, everything had a personal and genuine feel to it that you can only get with people who care about making sure their customers have the best experience. We would NOT have had this much fun or enjoyment at one of the hotel recommended places. We had high-level executives at the meal, and afterward they shared with us, it was the best meal and place they had been in the three days in Tampa. The only dissapoinment is that the star rating doesn't go to "11" for the Big Easy Bar. We WILL be back.“

“I came to this restaurant to try the ramen. I’ve been to many other ramen locations in the area. The ramen was very delicious and the portioning was fair. The avocado seaweed salad was very different but delicious. The pricing was on the higher end. The special ramen bowls were priced comparable to other restaurants, but the build your own ramen bowl gets expensive. A marinated egg is $1.50 which wouldn’t be a bad price if it wasn’t for the fact that you only get 1/2 an egg. If you want two whole eggs, you’re paying $6.Although though the pricing for the build your own bowls starts at $8, you going to pay for everything else in the bowl including vegetables. It’s one thing to pay for meats or expensive alternatives, but having to pay $1.50 to add onions is ridiculous. The service must be a hit or miss. We got sat at a booth but received the bartender as a server, who was not very attentive. When a restaurant’s menu has a spice meter to choose from, water/ drinks are important for a server to check on periodically. Although my server was not very attentive, the other server checking her own tables looked to be much more attentive.Overall, I believe there are far better options for Ramen in the Temple Terrace or New Tampa area. I did not try the seafood boil, so I have no opinion on that focus of the restaurant.“
