Giovanni's

This was my husband and my first time dining here. The service was excellent. The waitress was spot on and very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. You could tell it was freshly made. It is worth the price we paid for our meal. I wish I could remember the name of our waitress as she was very sweet.

I've come here so many times over the years and it's always been exceptional! But tonight...was not. I ordered the stuffed shells, like I usually do because they're my favorite, but these were NOT at all like I'm used to at Giovanni's. I'm a full blooded Italian woman who knows Italian food, and this was disgraceful. The ricotta was grainy and not seasoned at all and the marianara was bland. We've been here many times. The food and value has been good. This visit was not so good. We ordered a large pizza 2 side salads and 2 soft drinks. The salads were tiny. The pizza was burnt. The toppings were very skimpy. We couldn't taste any sausage on the pizza. The waitress was very attentive and BUSY! The bill was $45 which included a 20% tip. I hope it was just an off night. We will be back. I probably should have said something to the waitress but she was very busy.
