Because of the delicious steaks we had on previous visits to Havana, we decided to return to celebrate my husband's 81st birthday. When we were seated, we told our server that this was a special occasion. He asked if we wanted the "complimentary" rolls. Our waiter was very courteous but never checked back with us once our meal was served (by another server). We had to ask for a glass of water. Steak was mediocre. Side vegetable was fennel which we could not even cut with a knife never mind try to chew. Server could have at least wished my husband a happy birthday but didn't. Come on, Havana, you used to be so good. What happened? We won't be back.

We eat here a lot. Last night our family of six had reservations at 6:15. We arrived early and still didn't get seated until after 6:45. No one spoke to us about the delay. I normally make reservations here around 5:30. The service was what I am used to here but the food was somewhat disappointing. Granddaughters pizzas were burnt, lobster bisque was pretty bad. southwest salad lacked flavor and the meat loaf was just warmed over and pretty cold. Not normal for this restaurant, guess the expediter left early. We didn't complain, should have, to the waiter or management. Normally when you leave the restaurant staff say good and thanks, not last night. Just get the feeling that the end of the day is not the time to eat here.
food poisoning? I ate the fishermans platter on October 10th and got very sick. Has anyone else experience this?

Made reservation for 6 on patio. Table not ready. At 6:20 asked about reservation as we kept seeing people that came in after us taken to the patio. They took us back to the breezeway, where the large groups sit and put us there. We were the only non-large group. Saturday Oyster specialβ¦.all gone. Apparently you have to get there when they open at 11 for the oysters, according to the waiter.π. Thought I would try their Margarita pizza; Doh, globs of cheese and slices of bland tomato on doughy crust. Husband had the meatloaf and loved it. Sister had the pork ribeye and loved it. Experience reminded me of Glenview, reservations mean nothing and have to be there before 4:30 if you want their βspecialsβ.
Our BBQ dinner special was both delicious and plentiful! Service was excellent - very attentive waiter. Manager and owner also stopped by our table to make sure all was good and we were experiencing a great evening. Havana is one of our favorite restaurants!
A little tired in the decor and furnishings but the menu and food is terrific. Try the a shrimp/pineapple boat for a tasty, light, shrimp/pineapple/rice dish served in a pineapple half. unique dish that wont disappoint. service a bit disorganized but all enjoyed their different dishes. will return.
A dining experience to talk about. Hard to decide what to order because all the selections are desirable. Haven't had this good type of problem in a while. The Fried Grouper with Gumbo and Crab Stuffed Mushrooms were a smash.

The food is great, and the service is above board with helpful, friendly staff making each visit a joy. It is our βgo toβ restaurant in The Villages for our own dining pleasure as well as an experience to share with visiting friends and family.
Food, service, and atmosphere were good. All were pleased with portion size, and flavor of food. Portion size on Chateaubrand was on the smaller size for the price. Seasonal vegetables were ok, but not great.

We have been here a few times over the years. Thatβs not really fair as now it is under new management. The last 2 times were outstanding with a unique Greek dish, which is not on their menu now, as it was a special at the time. The menu has a great variety of items including gluten free, vegetarian, fish and meat. It is a classy place for sure with a great Manager and staff. I ordered the salmon with lump crab and risotto. It was pretty good. I felt it needed more of the wonderful sauce. For most people, they would say it was great. I like tons of flavor and sauce. My wife had a GF dish with shrimp and pasta and the bacon sort of took over. She liked it, but didnβt love it. However, it was made with GF noodles. So that made her very happy. Also, we like good tasting water and they do filter theirs, which I would expect from a country club restaurant. On occasion for us, this is a really nice place and will bring visitors back. Based on everything we experienced, we would recommend anyone with discerning tastes. Plus, the view and ambiance were great! Give them a try.
The food was great and so was the service.
