Always a great dining experience with attention paid to gluten sensitivity. Top of the list for the many Japanese steakhouses I have been to over the 40 years.

Amazing special rolls and great value!
We ordered a few of their signature special rolls and a hibachi dinner, and everything was delicious. The flavor combinations were creative and beautifully presented. Portion sizes are generous for the price, and the staff made us feel so welcome. Will definitely be coming back regularly!

Absolute perfection! The fish is incredibly fresh!
Hands down one of the best sushi spots around. The sashimi was perfectly cut, melted in my mouth, and you can tell the seafood is top-tier quality. The entire restaurant is spotless and clean. If you want high-quality, fresh Japanese food, this is the place to go! 5 stars!

I made a reservation at Sakura for a family member’s graduation, and when we arrived everything started off great. We were greeted by Victoria I believe who was very nice, and she seated us right away. At that point, I thought we were going to have a great experience.

Unfortunately, that’s where things started to go downhill.

Before I even came, four of my family members decided not to join us because they had bad experiences at Sakura in the past. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but after this visit, I completely understand what they were talking about.

Our server, Kevin, was where the problems began. Instead of waiting for the entire table to be ready to order, he took orders from part of the table and then brought soup and salad out to only half of us while the rest of the table was still trying to order. Right from the start, it felt disorganized, and we weren’t able to enjoy the meal together.

Because of that, we specifically asked Kevin to make sure our main courses came out at the same time so everyone could eat together. He told us not to worry about it. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen either.

Then I ordered an extra side of fried rice. When it arrived, it had corn mixed into it. I’ve eaten hibachi at a lot of different restaurants and have never had fried rice with corn in it. Thinking maybe there had been a mistake, I politely asked Kevin to take the extra side back. Instead of simply taking it, he questioned me and said, “Why? It’s the same rice that’s on your plate.”

At that point, I was already frustrated. It wasn’t really about the rice anymore it was the attitude and the lack of attention to what we were asking for throughout the meal.

To her credit, Victoria noticed there was an issue and genuinely tried to help by offering dessert and attempting to make things right. I appreciated her effort because she was the only bright spot in the experience.

Unfortunately, by then the damage was already done. What was supposed to be a special graduation celebration turned into a disappointing dining experience. Now I understand exactly why some of my family members refused to come. Sadly, after this visit, we won’t be returning. Victoria did everything she could to help, but the service we received from Kevin made this one of the most frustrating restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time.

I visited this place twice and my parents were frequent diners. Vicky and Amy treat the customers like family. Both times we got some free sushi to start. Everything is very fresh tasty and clean. My friend had one of the hot meals. And he really enjoyed it. He normally doesn't eat Japanese, but I think he had like a teriyaki dish with the noodles. He is very picky about his food. But that got devoured. The sushi chefs are lovely and everything just was delicious.

So disappointed cause I used to love sukura. The food is not only smaller, that I don’t mind, it’s the quality that disappoints . Two ell rolls made with rice that was not the soft sushi rice or just under cooked. The ell was so small that we both had a good laugh when some of the sections had no ell. The Alvacado and cucumber were plentiful.

Had dinner there Saturday. Party of 8. Came early to have a cocktail before. Found 2 open seats and waited 14min before bar tender noticed us. He had his back to us eatting dinner at other end. Noticed an unusual smell. Asked to wipe down bar top again. He said the smell was coming from the bar well. Smelled like vomit. He said the owner had a plumber there before and tri
