Always so noisy (loud) inside. Would have loved to sit outside so we could hear each other, but there were no tables available. I always get the nut & berry salad, but bring my own dressing since they discontinued the greek dressing that was so delicious. The salad is good, but would be better if they chopped the greens (greens are very fresh) as it is difficult to cut in the bowl that is used.

Service good. Coleslaw plentiful and tasty. Italian sausage sandwich is awful. 4 coin sized slices of tasteless sausage on each roll. That's no Italian sausage sandwich. If I order a hot dog, I'd never get a few slices of hot dog, I'd be served a whole hot dog. Same expectation for an Italian sausage. Sandwich was mostly large globs of onion and some pepper slices.

We hosted a luncheon for our Village at Tierra Del Sol for 44 guests. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent in every way. Our guests were extremely pleased.

This is a lively restaurant with a comfortable decor inside and a large shaded patio outside. The menu is diverse and i don't know of anyone that did not like what they ordered. Visit soon.

So after hearing how good the food & service was at Tierra del Sol, I stopped there for lunch after playing golf today.I understand that the The Villages is not a hot bed for culinary delights ... that's the understatement of the year. Tierra del Sol brings the norm down a few notches. The food was DISGUSTING. I happened to sit at the bar and the manager was next to my seat and we had a few words about my order. He made a particular suggestion and I went with it. I ordered a "Sausage Sandwich", which (according to the menu) was served with "grilled onions and peppers, marinara sauce and cheese". I ordered it without the cheese and the manager himself, confirmed that's how I wanted it.Did I get it without cheese? Of course not. It came with melted Provolone Cheese. Did it come with "grilled onions and peppers"? It came with onions and peppers, but they weren't grilled ... at least the peppers weren't. Did it come with Marinara sauce? If it did, I couldn't find the sauce. How was the roll you might ask? I'm sure the roll would have been tolerable a few days ago, but no longer. What about the sausage? Well, I wouldn't exactly call it "sausage". I'm fairly certain it was some sort of processed chicken, in a sausage casing. It tasted like very finely chopped cardboard, soaked in some sort of seasoning. Was it served hot? Nah. Was it served warm? Nah. The so-called sausage must have just come from the refrigerater and rolled on the grill for a few seconds, then tossed on the roll. How was the service you might ask? Well, if the service was just a touch better, I might have been able to write that the sausage was at least "warm". Unfortunately, it took me about 10 minutes of my sandwich sitting in front of me, before I could get the bartender to give me some eating utensils and a napkin. You might say, "I thought you ordered a sandwich"? Well, I did. But, when the bread/roll is old, it's unusually crumbly and it's hard to eat it like a sandwich.I will say, the french fries were "well done" as I like them. If they were hot, that would have been a big win. As it was, everything was a loser. The staff, the service and the food. The golf course is great!

The hostesses in this restaurant, along with the manager, should not be working in the restaurant business. A group of us always eat at this restaurant before going to a play at the Studio Theatre. This time I called three weeks in advance to reserve a table for ten. At the last minute, one couples dropped out so we needed a table of eight. While a friend of mine in our party spoke with the hostess to say it was eight, not ten, the hostess told her to move aside because another party of eight were to be seated. That hostess gave that party of eight our table!!! We ended up sitting in the loud bar area at two separate tables of four. They would not let us move our tables together. The manager told us the hostesses were new and didn't know what they were doing. But we knew the hostess from prior times we've eaten there! I'm not happy with this service at all.

On 10/22/23, 4 of us arrived at Tierra grill for a 6pm reservation. The restaurant was maybe a quarter filled with diners. We were promptly seated. That was the highlight of our experience there. 3 out of the 4 drink orders came out incorrect. 2 of us ordered filet and shrimp. The server Patrick came back and told us there was only 1 filet left but he would swap out out a ribeye steak in its place. We waited awhile and when our entress arrived the ribeye steak did not have shrimp. When asked Patrick said the ribeye didn't come with shrimp. We told him that he said that he was just swapping out the proteins for the surf and turf. He said he'd have to charge us for shrimp. And...the ribeye was mostly fat. We showed Patrick this and he agreed. He took the steak away and that diner chose not to get another entree. There was no apology no offer for maybe a comp drink or dessert no manager coming over to ask about our meals. So incorrect drink orders unable to get tge entree we wanted inedible entree no offer of apology or acknowledgment of bad dining in an almost empty restaurant. We will not go back.

This was our first time eating at Tierra del Sol Bar & Grill. It was excellent. My wife loved the Chicken Taco Salad bowl & I loved the Bacon Cheese Burger. Our waiter was excellent. He had our orders prepared exactly as we ordered them. He stopped by just the right amount of times with drink refills. I wish that I knew his name, but it isn't listed on the receipt. But, I know that he has a German Shepherd. ?

First time at Tierra del Sol, since it was a breakfast buffet. Wonderful menu, priced well and tasted wonderful. Servers were excellent ( but should have a more attractive uniform, some of them just looked awful in shorts) It was very noisy, but we were in a booth, so it wasn't as bad. Will definitely go again.

A quick shout out to Dave, the manager at Tierra Del Sol. Dave is what I wish all restaurant/ bar managers could be. He is courteous to Customers and Staff and expertly handles challenges as they arise. He is accommodating to requests and quick to take action when needed. I hope that upper management is aware of the contribution Dave makes towards the continued customer satisfaction at this establishment. While I would hate to see him go I can’t help but recommend that Dave train and mentor other managers in similar roles.

Food was dry and over cooked. Gin and tonic was made with soda water and not much gin. Will not go to this restaurant again.
