“Cecelia’s Sweets and Vampire Penguin is a family owned and operated desert and snack store located just off of Central Avenue in St. Petersburg with another Vampire Penguin location in Seminole, Florida. Their award winning shaved snow is unlike anything we’ve ever had before and we were already fans of the Vampire Penguin in Seminole before we tried their downtown St. Pete location!We were greeted by a very sweet young lady as well as Cecelia’s daughter and we’re excited to find that this location offered some additional items like house-made freeze dried candy, gourmet popcorn, cookies, delicious premium ice cream in a cup, cone or waffle cone, soft drinks, floats, warm pretzels, and even non-dairy and low sugar options on their small sized snow desserts! The restaurant is super cute with bright decor, friendly service, bar style seating and even a water bowl for your fur kids just outside the door! They have a cute Instagramable wall and the bathroom was well kept and clean.We ordered a warm salted Pretzel with their honey mustard dip which was delicious! I ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake ice cream in a cone and my husband ordered the stunning Polar Affogato - Coffee and Vanilla flavored snow, surrounded by Chocolate Brownie chunks, drizzled in Chocolate sauce and topped with fresh Whipped Cream dusted with Coco Powder. It was mind blowing!We will 100% be returning to Cecilia’s for the wonderful treats and fabulous customer service! Next time, I hope to bring my fur kid for their Bow Wow Wow canine friendly snow made of fruit snow and drizzled with Peanut Butter sauce.“

“I had the best time visiting Schakolad Chocolate Factory. An amazing selection of unique flavors including bourbon, orange and lavender to name a few that I tried. There are also beautiful holiday baskets available. The Easter bunnies looked delicious! Great place to stop in for a coffee and some chocolate!“

“Lovely cafe with great, fun decor. I ordered a cold brew and was nearly knocked off my feet by how strong it was. (This is a good thing!) I usually go easy on the sugar but this brew was so powerful I had to mellow it out a bit. Also tried a vegan cinnamon roll with my sister -- was definitely big enough to share -- and it was delicious and not too dense (unlike some vegan pastries I've had elsewhere). Service was prompt despite a big line. Will definitely return.“

“The new cinnamon rolls are really good. I mean REALLY good. I am not a sweets person, but I do like an occasional treat every now and then that is not sugary sweet. The cinnamon rolls are sweet, but the sweetness is balanced perfectly with the savory and rich strong butter flavor. The cinnamon taste is not overwhelming. The dough itself is fluffy and layered almost like a croissant. Normal cinnamon roll dough can be thick and tough. It wasn't like that at all. Great treat and perfect recipe! “I love Black Crow. When I moved here from Seattle a while back, before there were 10,000 coffee shops in St Pete, this is one of the first places that felt like "home" to me. “Went to the new location on 14th Ave and 49th street south and I loved the way it's set up. Cute walk up with take away service. The bagels are AMAZING! I got everything bagels with a tub of their scallion cream cheese. They are airy and delicious and I loved dipping the bagels in the cream cheese. Great service and easy to park and walk right up.“

“My all time favorite here are the Crab Cakes! Yes, crab cakes....I know, usually they are stuffing wrapped in beading! Not the case with these. They are actually crab meat with some stuffing and light beading...and I was not disappointed this time either. However, I was NOT IMPRESSED with the Parm crusted trout with skin on and I found a bone in mine, there may have been more but I stopped eating after that which was only 4 bites in. Everyone else was very pleased with their selections which was the chimichurris. The wait staff was very attentive but not bothersome and all in all, everyone except myself had a nice time and enjoyed their meal There were 4 of and I have to credit my disappointment with this visit as getting off on the wrong foot with our waiter, (ONLY myself) and my phobia of fish bones!!) But I think a 4 star is still an unbiased appraisal. I do however wish they had more of a variety of seafood, after all that is their specialty. On the other hand they have a lot of Vegan dishes, so they try to appeal to all taste buds!“

“This place is amazing. We have been coming to the area for years to visit family. Lisa's is a must at least once for every visit. Lisa is an incredible businesswoman and a kind sole. The food and drinks are second to none. Among my favorite menu items are the biscuits and gravy and the hash omelet. This is the only time I have had biscuits and gravy better than what I can make at home. Everyone who has ever served us has done so with the same kindness and passion Lisa always greets us. They work hard and it shows. This scratch kitchen is absolutely amazing.“
