Midtown Boba is amongst the few local boba spots in the proper Tampa area that is able to hold its own against the more tenured and reputable boba franchises.

While the taste and quality is nothing overly extraordinary, Midtown Boba definitely has design and image in mind when it comes to branding and eye-appeal. This shows Midtown Boba's understanding of the existing market and how it is necessary to merge these elements with the existing environment. While not related to the food and service they provided, it is a consideration that is sometimes forgone; it's refreshing to see this implementation by Midtown Boba.

Parking in general in this area is a bit tricky - if you're lucky, you may find short-term parking in one of the 6-8 spots right in front of the shop - however, there is free general parking in the lot off Bromley Grand Avenue.

Overall, Midtown Boba provides a decent boba drink to accompany this great Midtown hang-out spot.“

“Isekai is a small, friendly, family-run operation with a creative menu and top-quality ingredients. This was the first place I found in Tampa that offers toro (fatty tuna) and real wasabi. Everything I’ve tried on their menu so far, from sushi and onigiri to tempura, gyoza and chicken karaage, has been top notch. They also serve coffee, tea and boba drinks - my favorite is the Mango Passionfruit Tea with the mango chunks in the bottom. “What a cute jem 💎 of a bakery. The barista was super welcoming and sweet upon my arrival. I had the lavender milk tea and a breakfast pastry as well as some other dessert goods. Absolutely delicious and not overly sweet like other places. It was the right consistency and sweetness to my liking. Really glad I decided to check this place out. Super cute atmosphere with a really fun gift store section to purchase fun things from. You can tell the quality is really good here. I had a really nice experience for a Friday evening before getting home. Will be coming again.“

“Must try dessert spot! If you love boba, you're gonna love this place. Imagine taking your favorite boba flavors, and your favorite boba add-ins, and putting them in a shaved ice pile. It's like they took the boba drink flavor, made a shaved ice out of it, and then put the boba, grass jelly, fresh fruit, etc. on the side.

It's similar to an ice cream dish, but has Asian cafe style topping options. It's absolutely delicious and it's not too sweet.

We had the taro shaved ice and Love waffle and both were fantastic. This is our new dessert spot! 😍“

“First time there. Did a bowl. It was delicious. Ingredients were fresh. Staff were super friendly and helpful when I asked for recommendations. I did the limeade with my bowl for dine in and ordered a vegan Vietnamese iced coffee and two cookies to go. Both were awesome. Cookies are soft baked and flavorful. I got a staff recommendation on these as well. Did not disappoint.
Place was nice and inviting inside. Ordering was easy.
Outdoor seating also nice as well.
Staff clean the tables shortly after folks leave.
