“If you like tacos and want variety, go here. It's set up like Chipotle where you create your own taco or bowl. Since I came after 2pm for a late lunch, it was only $8 for three tacos. They have fried corn and flour tortillas and many options from veggies to meats and lots of toppings. The roasted corn sauce paired nicely with my tacos. They have margaritas, desserts, and a more fancy soda fountain. There's inside and outdoor seating.“

“Stopped by this taco stand last weekend. Ordered 3 tacos - 2 chicken, 1 shredded beef. Tacos served with 2 salsas, a lime wedge, radish, and cucumber slices. The beef was not shredded, more like chopped, delicious nonetheless. Chicken was better than beef in my opinion. The salsas are SO GOOD! Just under $13 for 3 tacos & a bottle of Coke.“

“A humble fast casual restaurant with really nice staff and the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had! This is no Americanized menu. There are tacos, quesadillas, sopes, and tamales, and each one looks better than the last. You can even have a bowl! The tortilla was crispy, the mozzarella cheese was generous, and the chicken was delicious! The chicken was chopped into small pieces, sauteed in something incredible, and had fresh cilantro sprinkled on top. Whenever I'm close by, I'll be eating here and trying their sopes next!“

“The food is very good, everything served hot, I'm picky about taco trucks if they serve bagged tortillas but the tortillas used in these tacos is freshly made corn tortillas, maybe not handmade but you can taste it in each taco, not stale or old, the tacos and food was hot. The sopes are handmade and fresh. They have great customer service, very clean, the only thing to pick on is their salsas. The salsas could use a little more flavor, but overall, I recommend this place and will likely return if I'm in the area. Definitely worth their price.“

There was an outside area with life size games with restaurant next door selling refreshers and breakfast food until 2pm -owned by the same owner of El Chapo Tacos.

“Tijuana Flats is consistently good food. I typically order the tacos or flautas. I usually go on “Taco Tuesday” where your can get 2 tacos, chips, and a soda for under $8. The knock on the food is they can be sparse with the beef on the tacos. The staff has been helpful and friendly each time I’ve been here so far. It’s an upbeat atmosphere with colorful art. Tijuana Flats is known for their sauce bar, which have humorous names, but not appropriate for children to see. No trash cans, servers throw away trash for you…which I’m not a fan of.

Parking: Part of a large plaza. Plenty of free parking.

Kid-friendliness: My sons love Tijuana Flats, they have a kids menu. Beware of sauce bar (names) with children.“
