My sister and I have been talking about going to this place since it opened. I am so glad we finally did!! We had the high tea and gyros. Everything was absolutely delicious! The gyro meat was juicy and seasoned to perfection and the homemade tiziki sauce was top tier. The Chai Tea is unlike any store bought Chai I have tried. It was rich and creamy. Ma Wish High Chai- Tea & Food is a tiny, charming family run business along the highway between Tampa and Tallahassee. This little boutique offers high quality teas with abundant varieties, including cinnamon chai tea brought from the family farm in Sri Lanka. The menu features delicious gyros stuffed full of veggies and lamb in tzatziki sauce, chicken curry, and homemade curries. Baked goods are a highlight, with fresh macaroons, a red velvet favorite, baklava, and a giant cookie that is a little slice of heaven. The most refreshing lemon tart cake and organic sweet tea are also available. The sweet owner, Shiraz, is kind, helpful, and passionate about the product. Guests are greeted warmly, shown the teas, and helped pick out drinks. There is a delightful, cozy tea party seating area indoors and an outdoor seating area for when weather permits, where dogs are welcome. This spot is a diamond in the rough and a wonderful experience.
