“La Potranca exceded my expectations, I love good authentic food, I was born in Mexico City and It’s difficult for me to find a restaurant that offers the taste I get when I go back and visit, I’m thrilled to finally find a place in my neighborhood where I can get my fix without all the bells and whistles or fusion with other cuisines. This is as authentic and good as it gets, from the simple way to make a delicious Margarita outside my home. The service is also top notch, our server Eric was so attentive and seamless at the same time. The tacos al pastor and the Carme asada tacos are perfection, the tortas and consomé are also amazing. I’m going back to taste more from the menu and highly recommend that you do the same! The atmosphere is great, cleanliness is also a 10 out 10! This place is MUST go!“

“This place is easily the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. It is a true hidden gem located right inside a convenience store, so don't expect any frills—just incredible, food. They keep things fresh by alternating daily specials, but the $6 burrito I grabbed was an absolute knockout for the price. Every single sauce they provided was packed with flavor and the meat was seasoned to perfection. I never would have known this was here if I hadn't stumbled upon it, but I'll definitely be coming back.“

“Came in for a light lunch after a long tournament day, and this spot did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. We ordered the To Share, the Guac Los Chingones, and a Quesadilla de Pollo—everything was full of flavor.
The restaurant itself is very clean and super cute inside. You can tell they put thought into every detail, from the walls to the chairs, cups, and plates. The staff was friendly, and our waiter Bryan was fantastic—attentive, welcoming, and really knowledgeable about the menu.
We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town! Highly recommend.“

I was delighted to see they opened a restaurant in North Miami . I ordered the Taco trio steak. “What an incredible dining experience. Amazing authentic Puerto Rican food. I am Puerto Rican myself and have been eating these foods my entire life, and this by far was the best Mofongo and Bacalitos I have ever eaten. Plus the presentation was so cool and unique. Chef Catala was so personable, introduced himself and added to our amazing dining experience. Truly talented. Our waitress Dalila was super friendly and welcoming. I'm sad we only had this one experience tonight since we leave tomorrow but happy it was our last meal. We truly saved the best for last!!! Thank you Iguanas!!!“

“Nice little hangout spot. There's parking in the rear. The bathroom is quite small but that isn't a problem. So far I love everything I've eaten here and out of the many times I've eaten in or ordered from this place, the service has been great, I've got 0 complaints and I invite anyone to try it out, prices aren't high either and I've seen plenty of tourists visit this place and have left happy. The owners are super nice and super cool. As long as I live in Miami and this place is open, I will be eating from it every chance I get. I love their nachos al pastor, they might not be their best menu item but they are my favorite.“

They do lots of caterings too so they may not be there sometimes, they will update on instagram though It’s worth the wait. Try them! It’s a must!“

“We live in Ohio but went to Miami for a cruise. We went to the Kendall location one night.....the quesadilla was outstanding! Drinks were amazing and it was the best Tres Leches we had ever had!!! It was so good we went back another night!!! Fingers crossed you open up a location more north. :-)“
