“Drunken noodles were so good. Would go back for that alone. Summer rolls were excellent. Green and red curries had great depth but too sweet for our palate. That’s a personal preference. Spice level was perfect. We chose hot and it was just right. Loved the HUGE fish tank that is immaculately maintained! Great for kids.“

“From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted by the rich, inviting aroma of fresh ingredients—it immediately set the tone for the meal ahead. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, striking that perfect balance between being present and not overbearing.
While everything I tried was flavorful and well-prepared, the true highlights of the evening were the Lao-style papaya salad and the fish sauce chicken wings. The papaya salad had a vibrant, tangy kick with just the right amount of heat, while the wings were deeply savory, crispy, and completely addictive.
Overall, it was a memorable dining experience, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu.“

“I’ve been coming to Moon Thai & Japanese for years and it never disappoints! Whether dining in or ordering carry out, the food and service are always consistently amazing.
A special shoutout to Michael for always making the experience even better. He’s attentive, friendly, always smiling, and somehow manages to stay on top of all his tables effortlessly. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers.

“We had Thai cravings and ordered for the office the Lunch Specials. AMAZING! Plates start at $11.99 and go up to $16.99, they all brought a little egg roll that was delicious and a small soup that was also delish!
Everything form the menu was spectacular and it was ready in 10 minutes. Literally by the time I left the office, on 84th, got to 79th the food was ready. Super fast service, and good food and very good prices. ALSO the containers are plastic not those stirophome ones that all the sauce leaks, another plus.

“First time I came back in some time. Definitely a hidden gem, everything I have tried I have loved. My family enjoys the Green Curry, and I get the Khao Soi every single time. So many subtle flavors that give the dishes that kick of Thai flavors. The Larb dish was very nice, the gyozas were nicely stuffed, and the Thai tea was excellent.
The worst thing by far about this place is the parking. Always limited and tough to find spots during lunch rushes. If you are willing to fight for the parking spots, you will be rewarded!“

“My absolute favorite restaurant in Miami!! The beef pad thai, shrimp tom kha, and crispy tuna rice from here are genuinely my favorite meal ever. Every time I come home from college, it’s one of the first restaurants I visit with my family. I love Kampai for the food, but most importantly it’s authenticity. This place is truly a must visit!!!!“

“great food, large selection. first time visit. service bit weird. the waiter not friendly at all. one person left menu on table, waiter arrived and and said are you ready? no hello , welcome , or his name. I ordered sushi guest order a hot meal. my sushi boat arrived then guests meal about 15 minutes later. no staff asked if we wanted beverage or water refills, no one asked if we wanted dessert. the check was just placed on table, another person came to take credit card. personal touch or customer service lacks. other than that food quality and portions were nice. driving from homestead I would pic another closer choice. I eat sushi once or twice weekly“

“The Pad Ped Pah, Teriyaki Chicken and Pad Thai are wonderful, as is the Tom Kah (coconut milk soup with lemongrass), and the portions are large. We love the family who runs it -they couldn't be nicer - and the service is excellent. One of our favorite places.“
