This is my third visit here but my first time to review.
The Heavenly Croissant is a place I wish I would have found a looooong time ago. The woman who originally started this restaurant passed away unfortunately before I had a chance to meet her. Others have stepped in to carry on her legacy.
You will be greeted as soon as you walk in very warm and friendly with some beautiful music in the background. You can tell the people who work here enjoy making you feel at home.
*Bacon egg and cheese croissant*
I found to be very delicious. Always crispy bacon in a great combination and you can get it with white American or Cheddar.
*Homemade potato and bacon soup* I will tell you I am not a soup eater let the manager talk to me into trying it.
I find this soup to be very delicious. They have one homemade soup most days. I want to try other soups they have as a result.
*Homemade Almond cookie*
I have O type blood so I do not naturally crave sweets, however this cookie is delicious and will melt in your mouth.
This place is open for breakfast and lunch. If you find yourself in the area do yourself a favor and and treat yourself to a heavenly experience at the heavenly croissant.

“My daughter celebrated her sweet 16 while in town for a spring break softball tournament. We contacted this bakery, the day before her birthday, and they were able to come through with a beautiful sweet 16 cake! It was delicious, and I would highly recommend! !“

“5/14 - This was my first time at this location & IT IS SOOOOOO CUTE. You walk in & seat yourself. I had the order the Taco Salad ? & that's was really good. Enough dinning room space for a meeting or two. Food was good ?& I highly recommend. It's located in Fort Walton's Beach.“

“I reached out to Bonne Vie on Facebook after posting in a 30A group for weddings. Being from Chicago I couldn’t try any of the cakes / desserts in the area so I had to reply on recommendations! The rec for Bonne Vie did not disappoint! I sent some inspo photos and they took it from there! It was exactly what I wanted and the taste was even better than the looks! We had pearl vanilla macarons, almond sand dollar cookies, shell sugar cookies, vanilla cupcakes, and a coconut cake. The cake was so moist and delicious! The coconut was perfect, not too over powering. All of the desserts were fresh and delicious. I had guests texting me after the wedding asking where they could get the macarons because they were the best they had! It was also super convenient that they delivered this all to me on the day of the wedding! So so pleased with everything and would recommend them to anyone looking for desserts or cakes for any occasion! Thank you Bonne Vie team for my dream wedding desserts and for your kindness and help! 1000/10!“

“Tried a few cookies from Crumbl and they were pretty solid. The chocolate strawberry cheesecake was rich and sweet, with a nice balance of fruit and chocolate. The snickerdoodle skillet was warm and soft with that classic cinnamon sugar flavor—probably my favorite of the bunch. The double chocolate chip was super fudgy, almost like a brownie, and the cookies & cream tres leches was soft and creamy, though a bit on the sweeter side. Overall, a fun treat—definitely on the heavier side, but good to share.“

“ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND SO DELICIOUS! My son is obsessed with the show Trash Truck but hard to find! I knew these cakes were delicious so I stopped in to order a small round cake and cupcakes. I told her just to do shades of green or blue cause I knew it would be delicious so just wanted the round for the topper I ordered. She told me she would check the show out and I sent her pics of the topper. She was super helpful on what to order! Again I did not really expect a very detailed cake just matching colors because I picked her mostly for taste. Best frosting I have ever had!! You guys…I went to pick up the cake and when she opened the box to show I had tears in my eyes. Wayyyy more than I expected and was absolutely perfect! Could not recommended more!!“

“Our second year to book with Pelican Beach .. love it! The cafe had great breakfast options and reasonably priced. The food and drinks option at beach was a treat .. pretty expensive .. but the food did not disappoint. Only problem was elevators .. long lines waiting for elevators. We were on the 4th floor so we used the stairs as much as possible.“

“if you want to get a cone and a scoop or two you can, but this isn't really the place for that. The milkshakes are much more than milkshakes, they are creations. Some complain that they cost too much, they should just go somewhere else. I thought it was worth it. It's like buying a car. Can a car really be worth $100,000? To the person who's going to buy it can.“
