Wow! This place is absolutely incredible with impeccable friendly service. I Dream of the sandwiches and I always come here before hitting up the Venice beaches (live in Bradenton). Do yourself a favor and make this a pit stop before the beach.

Stopped in here today to get subs and check this place out, but the extremely strong odor of a Pine-Sol like cleaning product assaulted my nose the minute I approached the door. The smell was almost intolerable as I walked inside. I wanted to be fair and give this place a chance, and waited for service.Unfortunately, the sandwich I got looked good it I could not get that odor and taste out of my mouth. It was like everything had absorbed the Pine-sol or cheap cleaner scent. There’s no way I will be returning and subjecting myself to the headache-inducing odor of this place. Perhaps they should consider changing to diluted bleach or anything else.I definitely appreciate a commitment to cleanliness but please consider that your customers want to smell and taste your food instead of Pine-sol.

GREAT sandwiches.. Authentic Italian deli...the real deal. High quality ingredients. Excellent bread and oil. Very friendly owners.

First time there. Great sandwich. Also has the lemoncello cake….yummmmm. Bread is firmer because it is semolina rather than white flour. Had a great conversation with owner. Very nice.

Awesome mom and pop Italian deli. Ordered a roast beef sub that was amazing along with a hunk of aged provolone that was to die for. Owners are awesome and friendly. Full recommend

Months ago my dad brought me home their meatball sub and even with sauce the bread was rawhide tough. . .Recently pops and I were on the island and stopped in. Two 12" subs + 1 beer = $50 and "f- you" face from 2 of the 3 workers though we were the only guests.I had the Angelina, and dad had the eggplant parm. Bread was inedible - SO hard! There is plenty of refrigerated space for take away items but none was offered.Limited selection of everything... I wanted to like this place so much but honestly... Angelo's holds the key to my tummy!!!Also, pics of Bugsy and other mafiosos near the register don't seem quite right....

Great old fashioned Italian deli like I remember from my childhood days growing up in New York City. Semolina bread, Arancini and boccacino are just a few of the unique items you can purchase here. Very friendly staff.
