A spontaneous afternoon/evening roadtrip and date with my husband found us 45 min from home and sitting at the bar drooling over the menu. We were NOT disappointed at all. 10/10 from the service, (thank you Katie) to the OUTSTANDING fish n’ chips, a DELICIOUS take on an espresso martini, great conversation with the bar manager, Erica… it was all great! We don’t have a great pub like this in Bradenton and we are SO GLAD we stumbled across this absolute GEM! We will be adding British Open into our rotation! Also, the scotch eggs were outstanding! Thank you!

Disappointed! 2 stars because the service was adequate and 1 of the 3 meals we ordered was edible. The Banger pastie was a doughy disgusting mess with a side of boiled seperated pepper sauce, the curry and chips were not what you’d find in an English pub. Thankfully, we all shared the chicken strips that my daughter had ordered.

Was very happy with the pot roast four months ago. Last night, it was like hospital food. Meat like leather, horrible gravy, no amount of salt & pepper could fix. Ugh. Bruce is still five stars at service and we appreciate his professionalism.

The best thing about this restaurant is that the menu is different. There are many options you won't get at every restaurant in town. We were tired of the same food everywhere we go and this restaurant gave us exactly what we were looking for- something different and good!

So I'm actually sitting in the first Booth inside the left hand portion of the British Open... Actively eating my meal.
My wife completely flabbergasted as to why I am putting a live review in. Look the atmosphere the people the songs the music the energy.... I'm freaking American so I have no idea if it's British at all, but it every bit of this place is a Grooving!
The hosts and greeters, customer service, quality of drinks and food, and most definitely the friendly wait staff "Yo Dave. !!.. thanks for great service.

Was not up to past experiences there; however, no place/no where lives up to their bread pudding. The absolute best...YUM!

I originally posted a review 5 stars about a year ago, but now, after returning a year later, I unfortunately have to change it to a 1 star review. That's great that you have trivia but when you have a family wanting to eat at your establishment it might be better if the girl at the host stand doesn't say you're going to need to be done with your table by 6:45. Maybe my family wanted to play trivia. I guess you don't want our money anymore. How much money do you make per customer on trivia? How much more money would your wait staff make in tips if they got to serve a family of 6 food and drinks and once that family of 6 is done with their meal, do you want that table to go to another family or do you want it to go to 4 or 5 people for trivia? If it was my restaurant, I'd consider the pros and cons in the future when your hostess may say the wrong thing to make your business money.
