Back again but with just me and the wife. They had a Pastrami reuben on special. Not normally on the menu, so I ordered it. Was very good and tasty. Sauerkraut was tasty addition. But the price of a tea was $3.50. REALLY. That is far overboard for a cheap water type drink. Service was fine as usual.

I sat on the outdoor patio and the breeze was just right... I had my mind set on the corned beef or the almond crusted baked scod. I did a bit of research and then asked my wonderful server Walter which he'd prefer. He said the almond! I was puzzled yet engaged in knowing what he meant. So I went ahead and ordered it. I'm glad I got lost in my thoughts while I was sipping my beer and nibbling occasionally... Lollygagging some may say : ( but regardless I am glad I took my time because as the beer flavor refreshed my palate and every time I took a bite the flavor matured! Better and better! Come and give a try cause I was blown away 🍃

Not what it used to be. The Brie dish used to include a selection of bread, jam and fruit. Now it's a just brie and bread chips.
Brussel sprouts too hard. Frozen cod for fish and chips for 25$?!

Food is good, service is would have said better, but when ordering an after dinner drink only to be told afterwards it was a 100 for the drink is not good business. They then tell me it's not customary to info people of prices. That is bullshit. Being a former bartender I always informed people if shots or drinks are over 20. I will not be going here again due to shady business practices, nor will my company.

A spontaneous afternoon/evening roadtrip and date with my husband found us 45 min from home and sitting at the bar drooling over the menu. We were NOT disappointed at all. 10/10 from the service, (thank you Katie) to the OUTSTANDING fish n’ chips, a DELICIOUS take on an espresso martini, great conversation with the bar manager, Erica… it was all great! We don’t have a great pub like this in Bradenton and we are SO GLAD we stumbled across this absolute GEM! We will be adding British Open into our rotation! Also, the scotch eggs were outstanding! Thank you!
Absolutely fabulous place to be on St Patty Day!! Staff outstanding! Entertainment top notched. I will definitely be back! This place knows how to throw a PARTY!
Just been in here for some food and a pint ,the wife n I are British too very authentic great atmosphere great staff too we’re visiting from California
Disappointed! 2 stars because the service was adequate and 1 of the 3 meals we ordered was edible. The Banger pastie was a doughy disgusting mess with a side of boiled seperated pepper sauce, the curry and chips were not what you’d find in an English pub. Thankfully, we all shared the chicken strips that my daughter had ordered.
Was very happy with the pot roast four months ago. Last night, it was like hospital food. Meat like leather, horrible gravy, no amount of salt & pepper could fix. Ugh. Bruce is still five stars at service and we appreciate his professionalism.
