Food was unexpectedly delicious! It's always a struggle to find good Chinese in Florida and we ordered on a chance and were not disappointed! Recommend for sure.

Good food and nice, pleasant owners/employees. Venice needs more places like this restaurant- lifetime resident.

We ordered by phone for pick up tonight. The wait was longer than anticipated but it’s Christmas and honestly I was just grateful to find a place that was open. The staff, especially the girl managing the counter/register, was so friendly and maintained calm composure throughout the chaos of so many orders. The food was delicious!!!

We have been getting takeout from this place for the past couple of years. We get the same thing every time - General Tso's. The last two times we have gotten our food home we have been disappointed. There was absolutely no sauce (again) on in my order. It was so dry. I can only hope this establishment will make it right.

My husband and I stopped at China Taste while visiting family for the holidays and had a very upsetting experience. We placed a large order totaling around $90 for ourselves and my brother-in-law’s family. When my husband ordered, he specifically asked for 7 duck sauces, which were clearly listed on the receipt.

When we picked up the food, we paid and even left a $9 tip. My husband checked the bag before leaving and noticed the duck sauces were missing. When he politely asked for them, the woman at the counter raised her voice and claimed we hadn’t been charged—again, despite the receipt showing the charge for 7 duck sauces in black and white.

My husband reminded her he had asked for them and even tipped generously, and that if there was an issue, she could simply take it out of the tip. Instead of resolving it calmly, she continued to be loud and disrespectful. It wasn’t until the man working there stepped in that she finally handed over the sauces.

This was disappointing and unnecessary. My husband is a huge Chinese food lover, and we truly wanted to enjoy a nice meal while visiting family. Instead, we left angry and disappointed. Customer service matters, and this was far from the welcoming experience we hoped for.

Really didn’t like the food. Kung Pao chicken and hot and sour soup were not like any other we’ve had before. And as an aside, no fortune cookies? Wish we could find some decent Chinese food somewhere in the area!

Called in an order and the staff sounded friendly. Food was fresh upon pickup and definitely had good flavor. The House Special Lomein noodles had very large thinly sliced chicken and it was delicious! It’s a bit further out for us but worth the extra 3 miles.

We ordered their Teriyaki with fried rice. The meat was chewy which is ok, but very bland, the fried rice was brown and also bland. We also ordered a broth...can't say it had much flavor either...very unremarkable. People were very nice, service was fast. We need to find out what their best dish would be to order.

The chicken wings were horrible. I’ll never order from here again.

They use to be great, but now all the chicken dishes are disgusting. All grizzled and fat and had to throw out. Real waste of money.

This place has gone down hill quick. They use MSG now which gives me terrible migraines. They made the change without mentioning it anywhere. I tried asking them about what dishes they use it in and got silence on the phone. We also had a metal shaving in our beef and broccoli. When they tell you 15 minutes, know that it will be more than a half hour. So dissapointed.
