The Banyan House Restaurant Reviews
General manager Stacy was completely unprofessional. The server did everything she could to help us, however the general manager made excuses then talked down to a female at the table. All this after waiting 2 1/2 hours for an entree. Then refused to give us our checks and told us to leave. Needless to say we will never go back, while he has any control over that establishment. He clearly doesn’t know how to run a restaurant, or how to handle a customer complaint. Instead...read full review
The buffet was great and unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys
I hate to give a bad review, but….
We were so looking forward to our fist visit to The Bayan House, after reading all the great reviews, however…our experience last night was less than stellar!

The Banyan House Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with delicious food and excellent service. The menu features a variety of dishes, with standouts including a chocolate cake dessert with amarena cherries, a crab tower, and the highly praised grilled lemon pound cake, described as the best dessert in ages. Guests have enjoyed the creative and flavorful dishes, including lobster hush puppies, blackened grouper tacos, and the chicken wedge salad. The restaurant's atmosphere is beautiful, especially with stunning sunset views over the water, making it a great place for a meal with a view. While the service is generally attentive, there have been inconsistencies with the preparation of certain dishes, such as the saltiness of the French onion soup and the absence of cherries in the chocolate cake. There is room for improvement in ensuring consistent presentation of dishes and attentiveness to refilling drinks in a timely manner. Overall, The Banyan House Restaurant is highly recommended for its serene dining experience, generous portion sizes, and a wide selection of good drinks. Guests have also enjoyed the dinner summer special of two entrees for $50 and the excellent service provided by staff such as Marley and Inna.
