Beware!!! Food is good but watch out for theft. I went through the drive thru and handed the employee my credit card to pay for my meal. They walk away from the drive thru window to the cash register and when they did they charged 20% tip without asking. I will be returning to ask for my money back. Will update.

Nobody in the drive thru, looked like nobody in the restaurant, and they still forget to put chicken in my chicken bowl. Did not look busy so why rush and forget what is the most important part of the bowl..... disappointed because it's good food.

I come here three times a week, can't denied the food is great but the fact that never have many of the items offer in the menu sucks. Like I said, I come here three times a week for lunch and it's been a whole month that they haven't have Barbacoa. And it happens often there is not napkins or forks and today not coca cola. I don't get it but I guess I just find another place to lunch.

Walked in and heard a polo player raving about the pork taco—said it was the best he’s ever had. Gave me hope, even though the place smelled kind of weird and looked like a dive (which sometimes means great food).
I got a carne asada burrito. It was mostly filler with barely any meat, and what meat was there was overcooked and just… gross. I couldn’t finish it and ended up tossing it. Maybe the pork taco really is good, but the carne asada was a big miss.

I was just visiting the area. I love the place - it was extremely busy when I got there and they had my burrito out relatively quick. The place is a small inside, but there's additional seating outside. Burrito was fire! Definitely will return.

We live in Upstate NY and visit the Venice area about twice a year. We go to Tomatillo’s as many times as we can because we love it! For example, we were just there for 8 days and went to Tomatillo’s 3 times! The food is so fresh and delicious. The taco salad bowls are my favorite. The portions are great. The staff is always friendly.

I was immediately put off by the atmosphere, everything from the parking lot, and grounds the restaurant sat on to the foul smell that hit you in the face when u opened the door. I was looking forward to trying some fresh food but was too put off by the appearance and smell I immediately left.

I used to love tomatillos so much it was my favorite restaurant. now it’s dirty and smelly, completely different. last time, a few months ago, i didn’t enjoy it as much as i used to. i was going to try again today but it was very run down and smelled so bad and the food looked completely different. i hope they go back to how they used to be….
