This will be a review from yesterday lunch time.
My husband and I enjoyed our food and the lady who was serving us. I can't remember her name but she was an angel! She was so polite and was apologizing like crazy because of the short staff in the kitchen. To the point she was at the kitchen window telling the person what she needed and wasn't rude but was on point! I did feel horrible because I had a man sat behind me complaining and yelling from the table to her at the kitchen because for some reason he thought she was talking about his food? There was so many rude and impatient people in there but each one of those staff members were calm and polite even with them. Let me tell you if I was staffed there I wouldn't have been as nice as they all were. You all are amazing!!!!

Very disappointed, took a couple minutes to get seated but not bad.
When seated ordering was a little slow but reasonably.
We ordered 2 for $20 after approximately 45 minutes we got our appetizer then another 1/2 for the rest of the food. Wasn't overly busy, but older woman doing most of the waiting on tables. Didn't apologize for the wait Didn't come back to ask if everything was okay, etc. We had to ask for extra napkins and a to go box didn't offer, just came over sat plates down and left.
Ended up going up front to get a to go box because she forgot. All around poor service was thinking about walking out, but wasn't in a hurry so we put up with the poor service, but we aren't in a hurry to go back there's to many other place to choose from

I ordered the Chopped steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli. Honestly the Chopped steak tasted old and so did the potatoes and gravy. The broccoli was good. The server was wonderful. Lovely older woman and took very good care of us. The breakfast food here is always good but the other food taste processed.
On Thanksgiving Jessica and her district manager helped my family to the fullest. I'm sure they were super busy for the holiday, but Jessica showed empathy and compassion to my situation. She reached out to her district manager who personally drove my mother and brothers Thanksgiving dinners out to them. I can't tell you how appreciative I am of this team to pull this off. Thank you so much and Happy Holidays.

Egg whites
Crispy bacon
Crispy hash browns
Did not wait long
My mother and I came in, and as always, they never disappoint! The food was fresh, service was super quick, and everyone was so friendly. It’s one of those places that always gets it right — consistent, delicious, and welcoming every single time. We’ll definitely keep coming back! 💯✨

My daughter and I went there and we will never go back. I had the skillet and she had two eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon and toast. First, let me say there were 4 maybe 6 people in there, and it took almost 25 minutes for the food to arrive. I could understand a long wait if they were busy, so I feel the wait was unacceptable. My food was hot when it arrived but my daughter's was barely warm and the eggs were very under cooked. The waitress did offer to get her something else but my daughter declined, stating she didn't have another 20 to 30 minutes to wait for food. She did eat the hash browns and bacon only because she was hungry. The manager took the cost of the eggs only off the bill because the rest of the meal was eaten. Would you have waited another 20 to 30 minutes to eat? We will never eat there again and feel we shouldn't have had to pay for any part of her meal and had the impression that it was insinuated for us to be happy with what was removed monetarily from the bill. The manager really didn't try very hard to try to make things right.

Went for breakfast and Cassidy went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my meal! Will definitely be coming back to dine with her.

Kind of a musty smell to the place and the restrooms were smelly as well.
Food was very good.

They offered great daily specials.
Dining at Bob Evans left me with a clear understanding of why opinions on this establishment are divided. While the chain carries a reputation for comfort dining, this particular visit revealed a space that felt more tired than welcoming. The servers, though functional, lacked energy and engagement, leaving the atmosphere flat and uninviting. There is a noticeable absence of warmth—both in service and in ambience—that makes the restaurant feel more like a stopover than a destination.
The food itself reflects the same sentiment. Plates arrive adequately prepared but uninspired, missing the seasoning and passion that transform simple dishes into memorable ones. Rather than the hearty flavors one expects from a country-style kitchen, the execution felt perfunctory, as if the love for cooking had slipped away.
To its credit, Bob Evans does offer practical conveniences: plentiful parking, ample seating, a children’s menu, vegan options, and full handicap accessibility. The dining room remains relatively quiet, which may appeal to guests seeking a subdued experience without noisy distractions.
Still, potential lingers here. With more enthusiasm in the service, livelier ambience, and renewed care in the kitchen, Bob Evans could rediscover its spark. For now, it stands as a restaurant that delivers the basics but falls short of creating a meal worth remembering.

Bob Evans is a short ride from my Condo. I thought I'd give breakfast a try. Bacon, Eggs & Hash Browns were delicious. However, just prior to the arrival of my meal I wanted to read the table tent on the table. When I picked it up my fingers stuck to it. Then I noticed the woodwork in my booth. Filthy to say the least. I spent 40 years in the restaurant business, and the first rule is cleanliness. Please notify the manager and tell him/her they are not doing their job. I have attached photos for review.
