Crab Stop of Vero Beach - Seafood Restaurant

We ordered the Ultimate platter for four and it truly lived up to its name—abundant, fresh, and ultimately perfection! 🦀🍤 The portions were so generous we even had enough to take home. Sitting along the Atlantic Ocean made the experience even more special, with live music providing the perfect backdrop to an unforgettable seafood feast. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great food with an even greater atmosphere!

Great meal in a beach casual restaurant. Alex in front of house was great and the back of house kept the food coming out on time, fresh and hot. Kids devoured their meals and nothing came home with us. The crab boil was great and the crab cakes were exceptional. Glad we found this place. We'll be back.

First time eating here... birthday dinner for my buddy. Party of 8. Service was great, food was delicious and the bill wasn't that bad... 3 bills and we all had seafood. Four had crab leg dishes, one had Crabby patties... 😆 🦀 🎂 for you who don't know. One had a catfish platter, another had just fries(9 year old) and I myself had this delicious Caribbean rice dish, served in half of a pineapple 🍍. It had shrimp, sausage, crayfish and of course, pineapple. I also had their Crab 🦀 balls... same as there patties, just balls. I'd say about 60/40 Crab to filler ratio. They were good as well.
Soooo, all that said, definitely have a go for yourselves and enjoy. I'll be going back at some point, it was good. Would love to see them do a shrimp, crayfish and grits bowl 🥣 😋 🤔 I'm sure it would be wonderful.

A small diner setting, located in a central area of Vero Beach, this little gem has the old school vibe. Food was tasty, staff was friendly, and the cost didn't break the bank.

Pros: the seafood. The crab legs, steamed shrimp, and mussels were excellent. I’m a garlic lover which is a good thing as all the seafood had a heavy garlic flavor. The staff were very friendly - even talked to the chief. The draft beer selection was solid. Location is nice with a patio and water canal view. Prices are reasonable.

Cons: interior decor needs improvement. Several crab options were out of stock. Outdoor patio is tight with only a single, long bar that holds maybe 8-10 customers. Bathrooms need upgrades and chemicals shouldn’t be stored for customers to see in the bathrooms.

This is the third time that I have ordered from crab stop and my order was canceled because I placed my order between an hour and an hour and a half before they closed. I wait 30 minutes for my order just to find out that they don't want to cook food an hour before they close and then I have to to place a new order from a different restaurant and wait for a new order to be delivered. I wish the service was like it was when they opened the first restaurant, The owners were amazing when they were involved

Well worth the Stop had the mayor Robbie was absolutely amazing. The crab is done to perfection. the shrimp were amazing. The potatoes were great the corn well it’s corn Definitely worth the stop the staff was great

I ordered to go. I had the snow snack pack & the catch of the day (grilled grouper) sandwich, with garlic potatoes. Service was wonderful. Food was delicious. Very satisfied. Will definitely go back.

If you enjoy seafood, this is the place for you. Excellent food selection. Great service. Watch out for the specialty drinks. They will catch you off guard but very good. I would highly recommend Crab Stop when visiting Vero Beach.

Service was great! Thanks Laurie for being so attentive to us. Conch fritters were really good, and the sauce was just right.
Fried shrimp was lightly breaded and delicious. Fried catfish was cooked to perfection. We will be back.

Out of most things, owner will charge your card behind your back if you return a plate that was wrong. You can find a better place to enjoy more variety or crab & better service. DONT EAT HERE!
