Crab Stop of Vero Beach - Seafood Restaurant

Business Closed!!! as of Feb. 2026. Very popular little place. If you like garlic, oil and crabs and other seafood, this place is worth the stop. The people are friendly and the low country boil is a very popular dish. This is a family style restaurant, not fancy at all, but you're there for the food.

We ordered the firecracker shrimp and conch appetizers. Came with tarter, cocktail or remoulade sauces - your choice. Outstanding! Shrimp was spicy but not too. Great flavor and sauce! Conch fritters were temperature hot and tasty! Will definitely eat here again. Sorry no pix - ate it up too fast?

We got there, host was very nice. He told us the delivery trucks had not been arriving. Theh were without 75% of menu. First time ever going. Will go back to try.

Just tried the new Crab stop and it did not disappoint, kinda miss the old lo place but the food is still great and now they have a full bar and outdoor seating. Still fantastic food and service stop in every time I'm in Vero.

Lunch was quiet, only one other table was occupied. Firecracker shrimp was good. The place was older, deen decorated for awhile. Was more of a bar than a restaurant. Service was superb and food was good

This is the place to go, best crabs leg we have ever had. Service was Excellent, waitress went above and beyond. Good vibes from the moment you walk through the door and smelled delicious. I can only give it 5 stars, but this place deserves 10 plus. This is a fabulous place, I highly recommend putting it on your bucket list and go hungry. I will go there anytime I am near

To be honest, it wasn't bad at all, but it just doesn't reach 5 stars for me. The place needs a little more TLC (tender loving care), and some types of seafood were missing that they didn't have. Overall, it's a good 4-star place.
