So.... I was taking my mamma 2 the doc in this little plaza and I noticed this Cafe in the corner while I was waiting on mom. I was greeted immediately by a server named sailor Lilly and Jennifer. Called in for a pick up, grouper basket was ready on arrival. Was only a pick up order but Sarah saw that I stopped outside at one of there spotless table’s. My hunger hit hard and and the food smelled so tasty, it was gonna make it home. She came and checked on me and ran in for some requested extra tartar sauce. Impressed by the food, impressed by the service then Sarah takes time to escort an elderly couple to a table and assist with the menu, 10 minutes before closing!...
I had heard some very complimentary comments about Grit Scratch. And the comments were so true! I love this spot now for either breakfast or lunch. The grouper Rueben was over the top delicious. Salads are fresh and plentiful. French fries are outstanding. And Jen is just about the best waitress I’ve ever seen. Our new favorite place.
