Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

First time here and the pasta, wings and bread were unexpectedly amazing! Was better than other fast food pizza chains, felt like I got it from a regular Italian joint. Great customer service as well! Price was very reasonable for a portion that could serve two, would've probably been $20 alone for the pasta itself anywhere else but I paid under that for both items. Will be back soon to actually try the pizza!

Ordered a pizza from Hungry Howies. Large Cheese Pizza, light sauce, garlic crust. Same as always as I'm a frequent customer. When we got home me and my family started to eat the pizza, there was no sauce what so ever. It was like we were eating cheese and bread alone. It was gross. This is the second time this has happened. The first time we were frustrated, but we didn't call. We just let it slide as we understand sometimes things happen. This time we called to ask for a refund. We spoke to Jose and he asked us if we ate the pizza. We told him of course we started to eat the pizza. That's how we know there was absolutely no sauce on it. Since Jose could not do anything for us, we asked him to call the owner. Jose called the owner. Jose came back on the phone and told us we can come back with the pizza and they could make us a new one. I told him I did not want a new pizza, I just wanted a refund. I wasn't going to drive all the way back there wasting time and gas over a pizza that they messed up on. When I asked Jose for the owners contact information he got nasty and told me to look it up on the website. I asked him if he thought that was proper customer service and he sarcastically told me to have a good night and hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional. I guess hungry howies doesn't care about losing a customer. They should have refunded me or at bare minimum offered to deliver a new pizza, not have me bring back the old one for a new one. I'll never eat there again. Not good customer service.

I recently discovered this is a family owned small business and decided we’d start coming here for Pizza Fridays in our home. I haven’t eaten Hungry Howies in years and OMG! I was so shocked at how good it is. We usually get Little Caesars and the difference is test questionable. I’m convinced LC is feeding us cardboard. We’ve become regulars here now. So good! Real ingredients! Tasty crust!

Pretty good food

I was a visitor from out of town. I stopped at hungry Howie‘s and had a fantastic lunch! The lady, Bear was so kind and helpful! The food was delicious! Great customer service AND great food ! AND…. Great prices ! Give it a try. You will be happy !!!

Updated Review-This place is phenomenal. I am a vegetarian which most times you can't get anything fast food. The Greek Salad is delicious and abundant in toppings as well as if you order online (which I recommend) you can pick and choose what you like. So if you have one kid who hates onions the other likes tomatoes they make your salad to your taste. They have subs which look sort of like a calzone. My husband started trying them and then we went for the veggie but only chose the vegetables we like. It's delicious. I get peppers and onions with the cheese that comes with it. They give you a side of their sauce which is like a vinaigrette and lettuce tomato and banana peppers on the side wrapped separately. The crust is soft, light, and tastes good. The pizza is great as well. The company responded to my first review which is so stand up. I love this chain, the food is really good and they have never messed up a thing. I highly recommend giving Hungry Howie's a try. Order online for additional coupons and Wednesdays the salads and subs are $7.99 if you wanted to give something a try and not pay full price. The portions are perfect sizes.

I admit I was skeptical, mostly based on the name of a pizza parlor. I'm from New York and pizza is always an Italian person name...However, the pizza here is very good, consistent, and I have not had a problem once. There are very good deals here as well. I recommend ordering online and use the coupon codes. It is now one of our regular stops. I highly recommend giving them a try. You will become addicted ❤️

Anything but a 5 star review pains me because I love Howies. But this location missed the mark big time. First, the person who took my order over the phone overcharged me by about $11. I questioned it when I arrived at the store and the woman behind the counter corrected it. When I got the pizza into my truck, it smelled so good that I immediately forgot about that problem. When I got home, I saw that they forgot the requested flavored crust. Not the end of the world. But, the finished product left a lot to be desired. The distribution of sauce and cheese was very uneven, and the crust felt pre-cooked. Is Howies doing that now? Honestly, I could have lined this up with a frozen Tonys pizza from Walmart and probably not known the difference. The only good part of the order was the Dr Pepper.
